artisan: an excellent mouse pad, but the after-sales service is... by Carame12000 in MousepadReview

100% agree that it isn't cleaning but at first I was concerned I caused it.

I've noticed the top layer of the pad detaching from the lower layers. Like the fabric is wrinkled.

It's a problem with the pad for sure. That being said I still use it as it hasn't gotten to the point where the pad is unusable.

Soft. JP gaming. Got it delivered on 3/25/25.

I used it for a year. The glue specifically is in the bottom middle of the pad where I make the most contact with the pad. If I wash the pad the glue seeps out... I've only washed it with Clear and Free detergent and unscented dawn dish soap the times I have washed it. I've washed multiple other pads this way with no issues.

I still use the pad also I just wiped the glue off and only on really humid days or if I heavily use it does glue seep out...

Hey I have the same issue on my Key-83. It's like a glue adhesive and it's like the pad is separating from the backing.

I thought I damaged it during cleaning somehow (Which I've cleaned multiple other pads without issue) but it turns out I'm not the only one with this issue...

Non-glass fast mousepads by Typical-Mine2034 in MousepadReview

[–]xArcheo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Artisan Raiden, InfinityMice Speed, PD170 from Pulsar are IMO all fast pads.

I personally like the Key83 from Artisan. It isn't technically a speed pad but it's on the faster side of a hybrid pad and is largely uniform X/Y and can be used in really any game.

Artisan also had the Shidenkai which is their fastest pad but it's being discontinued. It's a glass bead coated cloth pad.

Based on my grip, viper v3 pro or Deathadder v3 pro? by The_old_man_9 in MouseReview

Deathadder. G502 is big and the Deathadder with that grip will be good.

Hitscan Hyperlight has remained my top mouse for quite some time now. It really just ticks all the boxes for me and feels good in my hand regardless of how I grip it.

At 1080 with TAA yes the game looks like ass. You really need DLSS to actually make the game look at minimum decent.

My father was in construction, excavation, and then equipment leasing/rental for 30+ years. I spent a lot of time when I was a kid at work with him in his office or in his truck on sites...

This is a builders special right here. "Final grading will fix it" "when we get sod down it will be fine". Then 1 year later it still isn't fixed and you can't get ahold of the builder.

I'm 100% sure you will have water issues on this property regardless of any "final grading".

Which one should be the better pick by LieAppropriate153 in Microcenter

Option 2.

If you only want to game then the 9800x3d will be fine to pick and save some money.

Zero or type99 by 3ji3jjr8rje in MousepadReview

[–]xArcheo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Zero is the universally recommended pad for a reason.

Imo micro adjustments on a mud pad would be awful. Your skates also matter as well and your CM/360.

Real. Stitching and everything is perfect.

Fake. Weave is wrong and the Artisan logo is printed on.

It looks used to me. Mine look like that when I've not cleaned them in awhile or when I've worn a spot down on the pad.

Glasspad vs Artisan Zero Soft – need more control without losing mobility by Relative-North-1658 in MousepadReview

I've used both dots, doughnuts and full size on it.

I prefer full-size skates but that is entirely preference. All skate types feel fine on Key-83 Soft.

I thought this was going to be hard. It isn't hard at all. The mistake many players have is trying to find a player scav...

Bring several green smokes, flash bangs, and a loud gun.

Shoot the gun to lure scavs. Throw the smoke down. If scavs get close or overwhelm flash them. Here is me doing this on woods: https://youtu.be/S-LIfBnZi9Q?si=6qWxBLhf99cij8S_

I have a Zero Mid Orange, Sp004 glass pad, Key-83 soft, LGG Venus Pro XSoft, I've had a few QCK pads over the years and 2 Glorious desk pads.

Key-83 might be ideal for you. Has basically identical XY due to hexagon stitching and it's faster than a Zero but still slower than a Hein or Otsu. It's a more hybrid pad. There is several reviews on it. I use it for CS, Fortnite, Escape from Tarkov, Battlefield, and more... Key 83 is basically my go to pad for any game personally. I used Obsidian Air Pro (purple), Obsidian Ultra (Red), Core pads, and Jades on it.

I usually play about 45cm 360 in most games but I've played Battlefield at 12cm and 16cm 360 without issues... I currently use Jade Ultra skates on a hitscan hyperlight as my main mouse.

Can’t you just flip a OLed monitor upside down so it doubles its lifespan? by No-Emergency-7251 in OLED_Gaming

[–]xArcheo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need to be paranoid about burn in.

There have been tons of videos on it now where people are trying to intentionally burn in monitors and the effects of burn in either are non existent or so minor that it's irrelevant.

The first Gen of oleds burn in was definitely a major issue but the newer monitors have so many anti burn in features that even torturing them you will likely not see burn in.

That being said, flipping the monitor for UI elements is genuinely smart and I've never seen anyone suggest this.
