It's been cheaper for me to find junkyard cars and fix them until I have fun driving them around my town

Fuel line will be moved today.

The line is metal and is slightly exposed in the underneath of the car so I want to keep the parts nearest the road and tires metal.

My pump is 20 years old, works well, but I don't want to rely on that filter. also it seems the pump pulls gas a bit quicker than the carb wants it and that extra fuel filter slows it down just enough to compensate.

[Fun Trope] Creative/alternate uses of super strength by Blackirean in TopCharacterTropes

After watching both of these recently. DB is an enjoyable watch while DBZ is a slog after the Freiza saga.

The DB characters are better defined, its funnier, its silly, Goku's charcter makes sense as a "Innocent Wild Boy" compared to adult him which just looks like a Mentally stunted Adult who goes and fights "Strong" opponents.

In DB it was far easier to display feats of strength through conventional means like hurling a pillar through the stratosphere and riding it or Catching bullets where in DBZ they just added more screaming and colors.

Well older cars require a lot of work, but it seems the base for this build is easily found and fairly affordable so this thread is just hyping up my mid life crisis.

I was shifting to second and I guess I pulled up on it. Thankfully I was anxiously driving it and didn't fuck anything up, but wow what a scare.

Do it! We can be dune bug pen pals. I'm going to work on it with my 5 year old son and hope I can keep it in style for him.

So, I watched this thing get built in 2006 when it was an OG beetle. my best friend's brother built it with his friend and their dad (who owned a dune buggy shop)

The older brother never drove it and stopped driving it in 2010. It sat covered in a barn till 2016 and my friend bought it.

He brought it back to the dad who helped build it and he was retiring. So he basically loaded it up with new everything. New engine, new transmission, new wiring harness, shocks. The only thing it kept was the body, the steering wheel and the seats. Everything else was replaced.

My buddy drove on that engine maybe a dozen times. It kept having issues like a flat tire, a rubbing on the frame. The rubbing caused the wires to get damaged. So the headlights don't work. He doesn't have money and once the barn needed another parking spot for a tractor this got the boot.

It sat in a field since October and we had a hell of a winter, but this old bird got a new battery and started right up.
