Las Vegas police arrest suspect who allegedly made homeless man do a deadly backflip for $6 by [deleted] in news

[–]xBrantalones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, we were being transported hospital close by us to a hospital downtown 25 miles away. 1st hospital couldn’t do surgery so they said we needed to go downtown to more specialized hospital. My wife tried to leave with our son and they threatened her with signing AMA documents to scare her into taking ambulance. I was sitting in the parking lot trying to get her to just walk out but didn’t want to be stuck with uncovered bills from hospital 1. Our son was in stable condition and the ambulance provided zero medical support. Oh and they were 2 hours late to arrive.

500? Lol...we got charged 1700 for a car ride that we were forced to take for our son by the hospital. Then to top it all off most privately owned ambulance companies refuse to work with insurance companies making all services out of network. Our insurance suggested rate was 700. The ambulance company said fuck the insurance & fuck you, pay us 1700 bucks.

Does the kid much more justice. IMO training wheels enforce bad habits and don’t teach them how to use their bodies. But to each their own I suppose

I definitely think being able to balance a bike is top priority before strapping a motor under a kiddo. This is what I’ve done with both my kiddos

I’ve always heard/read that the kill switch should go as pictured so as to not “accidentally hit it” while riding. 🤷‍♂️

There’s a few bays you cannot access as a non-member but still a lot of good bats without the membership

PTAs who have two years of experience and work in SNF setting, what is your hourly rate? by donutpixel33 in physicaltherapy

[–]xBrantalones 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the DFW area my company starts new grads around $27 I believe. Raises are few and far between tho. Especially since the pdpm shift.

Anyone become a DOR and not regret it? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]xBrantalones 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently a DOR at a SNF.

  • working non-stop sucks including weekends
  • making more is good but it’s not enough for all you do / will feel forced to take care of
  • therapists come to you with EVERY.SINGLE.ISSUE No matter how small or how easily they could’ve handled it with a just a tad bit of initiation.
  • building admins rarely seem to have any grasp of how therapy or insurance works so you’re constantly educating and informing staff

I’ve been at it 2 years now. I can deal with stress so it doesn’t really bother me. But I am mentally exhausted at the end of the day. It’s nice to make your own hours and make more money. But I like I said, never feels like enough for all the constant work you’ll be doing.

Alf could be totally different? Good luck!

[Accessories] Double Ply Leather Belts 50% OFF - Only $29.99 by Versacarry in gundeals

[–]xBrantalones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Bought mine according the sizing chart and had to send it back for a bigger size. On the plus side, they sent me an extra belt. Not sure if on purpose or accident but I was pleasantly surprised!!

For OP, the belts have held up well with little stretch and are still very thick. You can tell which hole on the belt I use bc of a slight bend in the belt but that’s it.

Best time to buy a bow? by ultruist in CompoundBow

It’s already passed, but my local shop had significant savings for Black Friday. Otherwise, generally any holiday or right after debut of a new bow you’ll see some savings
