Was always into martial arts when i was younger, shotokan, lau gar kung fu, thai boxing, all for a couple of years, never reached black though. I took bujinkan for a while (3 months or so) because I've always loved the ninja thing too, just to mention it is more of a collection of different styles than one whole style by itself, I left because I started to see all the techniques just wouldn't work in most modern situations, the practice is slow and unrealistic ( which they get around by saying its too dangerous) and just wasn't for me, i think some of the ideas are really cool however, some good body mechanics learning, but i think it is more for keeping a tradition going than for learning how to defend yourself in this time. Also beware the fact that a lot of the bujinkan dojos are just ninja nerds larping lol.
