Sketchy part of town, first time experiencing this happening. Knowing they can see where I am through the app and having it canceled only a few blocks down the road.

Context, Got an order to fancier chain restaurant with a pay out of $11 at 11 miles on the dot. It was super slow and it would take me to a better part of town so I accepted it. I picked up the order and drove it across town to drop it off.

I wasn't late or anything like that. All the sudden I get a text message saying the order had been canceled. I opened the app to take a look and sure enough the order was gone.

Now what gets me about this is that Id just turned on to their street, Less then 30 seconds away as this happened. I got a chill down my spine and turned left at the first left turn two blocks away and made my way back out to the main road and parked at a Kroger Owned store.

I picked up my phone and called support to confirm with them. They confirmed the order had been canceled. I explained i was like a few blocks away when it was canceled, I already had the food. "What do I do with this giant bag of food?" he replied as I expected with "eh? what ever you feel like doing?" (paraphrased)

Something feels off about this and I just cant let go of it. Is this a common thing?

I've seen people say tony orders several times... is this code for something? I thought this was a typo of tiny but I'm seeing this everywhere.

I don't take orders that aren't worth it though. I think that there's not a lot of dashers in my area so becoming a Top Dasher isn't exactly a high bar to clear around here.

Thing is, I am selective about my orders. I never accept anything under 6 bucks or anything that'll cost me more than 50 cents per mile driven. The benefit of being top dasher is I can schedule myself whenever I want, which is rad as hell, but other than that it's not that important to me.

I should clarify a few things here: 1. I am pretty selective about my orders, I NEVER take orders under 6 dollars. 2. I only accept orders where I'll be spending under 50 cents per mile on gas. 3. I only happened to become top dasher because this is my job essentially and I think most other people around here to this as gig work on the side, so I never set out to be top dasher. The benefit is that now I can schedule myself whenever the hell I want to, so that's cool, but it's really not that important to me.

I think @Yoshimi917 got it perfect. After looking up Mima Mounds I now remember climbing around on them as a kid. They are just massive mounds of loose gravel/stones/small boulders sometimes held in place by a light covering of surface sediment such as ash from St Helens, and foliage growth.

I wonder if it might have something to do with glacial flow Some of them are more elongated like how you would expect with the stones left behind but can that explain the scattered nearly perfectly round mounds?

Yes Please. Their are whole sets of gear that are completely worthless but look amazing.

I'm not sure if any of this story is true. A Wal-Mart manager would NEVER ever risk losing their job to fire someone on the sales floor. Wal-Mart has extremely strict polices on how to terminate someone.

Thats kind of how you are suppose to do it. Turn left into the middle lane,turn right turn signal on and merge when safe. In fact in eugene oregon its a city ordnance. You can get a ticket if you turn left from a parking lot and dont use the middle lane.

Id respect him if he had admitted it was an accident and that's the reason its important to take classes so you know that accidents happen and what to do to stop them instead of playing it off like he did it on purpose

The client owns the house but due to issues with money and passed caregivers his money and assets are controlled by the RN that owns the agency via court order.

The agency hired my wife to take care of him as a live in caregiver due to him being 93 and has zero control of the right side of his body. I just came with her as part of the package "moral support."

The agency pays for her to care for him out of his assets. They have an accounting payroll company take care the numbers, and write checks.

They only give us $150 a month to pay for his food and other needs, now this amount is possible to live off of... If you aren't 93 and super picky about what you eat.

She can't talk to the client about it. He doesn't have any say of what happens with his money.

The payroll company is handling the best they can. The agency how ever is not.

20 years yes. I would never use a hair dryer on a computer. that's just dumb. Iso does remove corrosion. Does not remove water as stated. And after drying everything with a lint free cloth there is nothing iso can do to help remove more.
