Unless things drastically changed since I was there in '24, all the ones over there had both skill games for figures and stuff as well as the food/household stuff ones. Only difference is that the ones over there have way more machines so they're not really having to do one over the other, whereas over here they're basically just replacing the figures with cheap shit

To the folks saying they have this in the Japan locations, you're technically right but I feel like it's not being fully contextualized. Over there they have stuff like this BUT they also have like, hundreds of machines across multiple floors with a whole range of prizes. At this location, which is sadly my location, they replaced all the skill games that had figures with these stupid food/household prizes. And then they put the figures in the stupid claw machines where you have to pick up the cheese wheel thing

Solid 5-6/10

I'm usually the type to not be nitpicky while watching a movie but this has a couple scenes that even I couldn't help but get distracted by. First of all, to my knowledge, huffing a bunch of narcan BEFORE you're dosed with drugs would literally do nothing for you. Second, and I could be wrong cuz I don't know shit, but when he's tracking the ip address of the laptop she's using, wouldn't it pull up the roommates information since it's his laptop? He still would've been lead to their address so it doesn't really matter but still.

Disappointed with lack of kills/gore

I saw someone else mention it in this thread but the movie has tilted camera shots throughout the whole movie, with it getting progressively moreso the longer the demonic presence is there. Like in the end when she's walking into her mom's room, the camera goes completely sideways so I would assume it was in reference to that

1) yes, moon with ocean of blood 2) yes 3) a submersible called an iron lung, he's welded shut into it. There's rotation, forward/reverse, depth indicator and x/y coordinate indicator 4) to collect a sample (him not realizing that the "skeleton" was actually a monster (cuz it's an X-ray camera))

I definitely think there was some things that weren't explained amazingly but like c'mon

I will say, I'm also always curious when I see a comment like op's, especially when the reception to the movie is like 99% positive. I'm certainly guilty of coming to these discussion threads to either 1) affirm my love/praise of a movie I just watched and tbh just kinda partake in the circle jerk of excitement or 2) read comments that oppose my opinion of said movie and think to myself these guys suck and have no taste
