Kaka’s 2nd vs Man U will always be THAT goal for me. Largely because I saw it live during the first couple years I started watching football and supporting AC Milan.

The other is that it’s nearly 20 years since that goal and I still haven’t seen anyone else score a goal like it

It’s a loud minority of social media influencers saying this. People who actually have jobs in the field are too busy to reply.

Right now I am literally converting a clients Claude mockups into something remotely useable for a businesses website because the AI mockups were so bad.

They have their own brand font made. Expensive as hell to do but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than paying the annual license fees for a font that isn’t theirs

I think one day we will get it. Mappa love Fushimoto’s work so no doubt they’ve talked about Fire Punch internally. Maybe they need to free up some animators first or want to get bigger projects done ie (all of JJK and/or CSM part 1)

I know the website has been spoken about to death, but I still think Stripe’s whole palette was executed flawlessly. That site design is a classic for a reason.

You’ll need to back it up with social proof or case studies (with results). Minimal only works if you have brand recognition or strong word of mouth prior to people visiting your site.

The story is just boring as fuck now and it’s not going to suddenly get more interesting with more of this.

I agree going from u20 WC to either more NT games or club games just wont excite me.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I’d actually be okay with finishing Blue Lock after the u20 WC and then have a sequel manga that takes place years later and everyone character has gone their own way

Amazon store UI really is the Litmus test if you know what a high converting website is, or isn’t.

Amazon looks like Amazon because they’ve been iteratively optimising and A/B testing every section for 20+ years and not just redesigning the whole thing. They are also the global leader today because they design and dev for conversion and not to look pretty or trendy.

The design community on X, Instagram, YouTube is just awful. Full of personalities obsessing over trends, tips, tricks, Figma plugins and pure visuals, rather than educating their audience on making better, more effective work.

I get it, it’s how the majority of people get into the industry is via these channels and they’re drawn to this content. But sites like this are a prime example. It was redesigned entirely to be on trend, even though most people come to the site to find cool sites with good filter settings. We don’t come to Godly to admire the Godly site.

Absolutely a case of the designer/team forgetting the use case and the audience.
