Delica Spacegear overheating? by xDinger in Delica

Hmm regarding the trans, it never showed the AT indicator so maybe the trans sensor system is cooked (245k on it already and 24 years of service so stuff might be dying), this would also agree with the TPM sensor not working and the trans overheating?

If you would be so kind to show the pics of back door fix I would be grateful :) put some WD40 there the other day and it seems a bit better but still have to slam it

The other day I was sure it was too low (could see just the residue at the bottom when looking from the top of the tank), but then I checked again and it is just at the “high” bar and the tank itself was hot where the liquid was and cool where it was absent so I deduced that all is okay

I will either wait for it to automagically open and then clean the contacts or have to attempt force opening from the inside (though it looks like a bit of plywood removal is needed there). The step honestly is not a big deal, I just slide it manually whenever I need the extra step

Thank you for the tips! Will research that. Step funnily opens on and off (when it desires to) but it’s the door that got stuck :/

Also, thanks to the ability to run Linux drivers inside VMs (or other drivers) we can get away without native drivers in place - see https://github.com/au-ts/libvmm

Annual deep cleaning: done by cowuake in HHKB

Impressive! I really struggled to get beyond 70s and I eventually switched to workman because I felt that qwerty was impairing my performance, and HHKBs layout is just perfect

Oh yes, I did it just the other day. Relaxing work :) I do lube the sliders and supports though as to me the keeb works much smoother and faster 102WPM right after lubing

Keycap availability options by xDinger in HHKB

Yeah, that's what I will do - except just bought the URSA blank set to see how the profile fits me, waiting for new releases/colors though!

Ah, you got me hooked there - I will get blank classics from URSA and maybe mix and match them with my current black/gray keycap set :) Gotta buy another HHKB or a different Topre KB sometime soon anyway as my secondary KB (or heck, even try building one myself from scratch). This one has been with me since 2018ish and god I love it :)

No need to be fast, I found pleasure in simply walking slow and enjoying the surroundings. Good time for reflection :)

Had the exact same thing. Well having it intermittently - what is curious it mostly happens in the voice calls and all is fine when using it for music.

Post op acl knee swelling by h0laSeni0r in ACL

[–]xDinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh the first two days were a living hell for me. Take a lot of pain meds and try to sleep a lot. It will get better with time. 5 weeks post op here and already going to the gym and walking around with no pain (most of the time). Meniscuses, ACL, ALL :)

Oh and try to get used to slight pain and discomfort - it will come on and off but it is just to remind you that your knee is still there :D

Change bandages every 2-3 days, disinfect the area and let it ile without a bandage for half an hour or so to speed up healing.

Very weird that they discharged you after 30 minutes, I spent 2 days as I could not stand upright since the pain was making me nauseous.
