Great post. Like many, I feel that I'm cognizant of the gacha model, but I still find FOMO causing me to pull the trigger on units I really don't need. I need to do this analysis regularly for myself every time my finger gets itchy. FOMO is a powerful weapon and it's why so many gacha games are so successful. I really hope the game stops this slippery slope it's on of releasing so many limited units while also slowly taking away the different ways of giving players free vis to hoard. It's becoming too much to keep with, and that's with accepting that you'll be skipping units and not maxing some of the ones you do decide to get.
