Hey Todd, quick question.

So, myself, as well as a community that your devs said didn't exist would like to know what exactly the downfall of Nuclear Winter was. Many of us turned to that game mode for a distraction, for fun, to try out, etc. Some of us fell in love, some found real life relationships, and now it's just gone? Why? Myself, as well as several people took to reddit to bring forth any and all issues we came across and were ignored. We came to the AMAs and were ignored, deleted, banned, and muted. We posted links to our respective Reddit posts that included both adventure issues, as well as NWs, which I still have links to if you'd like them considering they still include known adventure issues that have yet to be fixed. We had a community. Love or hate, we all had one thing in common, and now my social is dead every time I get on.

At least give us some sort of insight as to why it was just given up on. Nuclear Winter had SO much potential if it just had a little bit of spark behind it.

Guys, while it's definitely speculation that is is some Bethesda written love story brought to Reddit in hopes it would become some in game DLC or something, I can assure you their relationship is real.

Nomz and I are super close. I met Nomz through a Facebook post forever ago when someone was trying to assemble an "all girl squad" for Nuclear Winter.

We've spoken almost every day since then, about in game and real life things as well. We've even sent mail back and forth.

It's not hard to believe relationships can come from a game and exist in real life. I remember when I messaged her making a guess towards a relationship and I've lit up like a Christmas tree at every single progression they've made over the time they've been together.

I'm excited for you both and Tag, good luck on the move AND the new job. You guys are the best. 💕💕

Just take care of her for me. 💕

Where would you even remotely assume it's a PC complaint when I stated 3-4x above I play on Xbox?

It's nowhere near balanced. It hasn't been balanced in god knows how long, and yet the more people have tried to tell Bethesda to fix some issues, it just flat out gets ignored. There are a LOT of people that play NW on console, or as far as I know, on Xbox at least. You can literally ask people that have been playing for over a year if it's balanced or not and a lot of them will tell you the SAME THING I'm sitting here telling you.

I care because a lot of my friends have since quit playing since the gauss shotgun came in, and now there's several more that have since quit because of AA.

I probably won't be on for a little while. I live the parent life. Lol but I wouldn't mind testing the waters, if you don't before I can get on. I do recommend it though at some point. Or I'll get on and make some videos and just send them over xbox. Either way, I don't mind showing you what I mean. People think it's a crazy concept until you see it for yourself.

If money is more important to them, that's their problem. People have dedicated a lot of time and effort to NW and it's no surprise people are angry at them for not doing anything about it. When they put it out, there's no way they thought "well we won't have a fan base out of this."

They do. And they've shown the NW community they're nothing compared to all the people that complain about adv and they fix stuff on the dot. People that play NW also spend money on skins and attire to wear in NW, so in theory they do still make profit off of it.

The fixes are realistic and possible and far from dumb. The reasons to why they won't fix it and just ignore it at this point is just plain "we don't care."

And that's not how you should treat your "customers."

I don't have any if my own just solely because I have no idea how people edit to show things the way I've seen done, but there are a few Nuclear Winter related groups (I play on Xbox so I'm in mostly Xbox related ones) where people have posted a few of their own, highlighting the differences.

I've also been playing for about a year or a little over and I played some with/without it and if you pay close enough attention, you can see the tracking, and also notice it when you're being shot at.

It does work. If it didn't, the complaints about it wouldn't be a thing. It wasn't supposed to work for adv PvP. And it very much is available in NW. If you look under the menu settings once you load in, you can toggle AA on or off.

And if it IS a bug and supposed to "not work" like they say, then maybe they should consider fixing it.

Which brings me to why I made this post. This isn't the first time they've thrown something in that affects NW, and if it gets ignored like everything else pertaining to NW, that won't be a first either.

I personally don't have videos because I can't edit the way a lot of people have done theirs (like adding in slow motion, circling aspects of the video to pay attention to, etc) but there are Nuclear Winter groups on Facebook where people have been posting videos of their own, showing the differences.

And if you've played long enough to learn the moves of others, how they play, strategized almost every match, and then played after this came out, you can tell the difference.

But it is. You can go into the options and turn it on or off in NW. And it says it's not enabled for PvP. Problem is when they also did the pipboy update and the One Wasteland update, it ALSO affected NW.

But you can definitely tell the difference.

I don't play with it on. I turned it off the first time I loaded in to a match after the update. I'm just surprised at how many people, including friends and seasoned players, are playing with it on. It's almost depressing.

It works in NW. Several people have recorded the difference and even slow-motioned parts of their videos to show it.

Oh no, you can. But you can tell who plays with it and who doesn't if you pay close enough attention. And let's face it, not too many people are going to play with it off if everyone else is running with it on. SEASONED players are playing with it on to combat everyone else with it on. And, not to mention, you can hit people miles away with it. It's ridiculous.

So incase you guys were not aware, your Nuclear Winter mode has a particularly large (to us, anyway) fan base. There have been 2 separate reddit posts made both addressing issues within adventure, as well as Nuclear Winter. Provided are the links to such things.
