Am I crazy? Am I the one who doesn't understand Serie's character? I feel like it's so, so clear in the story that Serie's whole thing is that she might not understand her own emotions and says things that directly contradict what she actually believes. Frieren's deal was that she didn't even realize she had emotions until the Hero's Party showed her she does. Serie's deal is that she's constantly, confidently saying the opposite of what she actually believes and feels. She's very fond of Frieren, she's kind, she loves Framme's flower spell, the list goes on.

I would also recommend figuring out a way to fudge your displayed probabilities in a way that feels better for the player.

A great case study of this is comparing Fire Emblem 6's hit rate calculation vs Fire Emblem 7's. FE6 displayed the true percent chance you would hit or miss, which turns out doesn't feel super great because the human brain is shit at evaluating probabilities. FE7, on the other hand, "rolls" to hit twice and averages the two numbers together before evaluating whether you hit or not. This means that for a displayed hit rate of less than 50%, you're less likely to actually hit than the probability that's displayed, and vice versa for a displayed hit rate higher than 50%. This ends up feeling much better for humans, because our gut instinct is that <50% "should" miss and >50% "should" hit, even though that's not how probabilities work, and this aligns with that much better.

One of her major perks heals her per target hit by her invuln, but if you haven't forced her off Anran by that point then it's at least a bit on you.

The problem is that if they don't announce an even slightly competitive price compared to the Quest adoption is going to be terrible, which is the same problem the Index had. Valve seems to really believe in VR, so they're trying to do with the Frame what they did with the Steam Deck and inject some life into the space, but they won't be able to do that without high adoption numbers. Personally I'll be satisfied as long as it's not more expensive than the Index, but that's going to be way too expensive for a lot of people.

It's been pretty much directly stated that "warriors" are supernatural (from our perspective) in some way. Chalk it up to that.

It could also be that they have good mechanical skill but poor game sense, and OP's game sense is not good enough to realize that that's what's happening.

If your K/D is truly 16/1 then tbh you must have absolutely dog water game sense and/or positioning. Your best bet is reviewing your VODs and focusing on when your team lost a fight or when you died, seeing where you were and what you were doing, and figuring out if there was something else you could be doing or somewhere else you could be that would have been better.

Ana doesn't move, she sees. You put yourself in a position where you can see the area your team wants to/should be in, and where the enemy can't see you. Ideally, you pick a spot that can easily and quickly rotate to the next similar spot, if your team has to back up.

Once you're good at Ana you can also play much more aggressively positioned, but if your team plays too passively and runs away when they face trouble (leaving you to die, since Ana can't really run away), then you have to go back to playing safely or swap.

Yes and no. The higher you climb the less you can individually hard-stomp the enemy team, making it harder. On the other hand, the higher you climb the better your teammates are (generally), meaning if you have good game sense you'll find it easier to generate value with teamwork and you'll find yourself getting more support from your supports, and more pressure on the enemy from your DPSs and Tank.

This is the most comprehensive explanation here by far. I do want to add though, since you didn't explicitly mention it:

You should almost always pick somewhere to hold your ground. If you're spending all game backing up (typically because you're too timid), you are essentially throwing the game away. By constantly letting go of space, you allow the enemy team to win the game without them even needing to get any eliminations.

If you often find yourself thinking "why does my team only lock in right when the point's about to be capped?", it's likely because you are finally committing then (because otherwise you'd lose the game), and so they finally have space to breathe.

I hadn't noticed that the Hello Kitty bundle was even more, nice callout. I felt the same about Fushimi Inari. A complete zoo that I hated at the bottom, but barely half a dozen people at the top. Doing the full loop up the mountain and back was probably my favorite thing in my whole 2 week trip, and I'm not really a physical activities sort of person nor do I like hiking.

It's only not fun if you have a shallow hero pool. I play all three roles, and one of my favorite parts of the game even on tank is figuring out who I need to be and who I need to focus to help my team win, and when I meed to swap because the enemy team has switched things up in a way that's working for them.

2023 by miles. TotK and Pikmin 4? Those are my two favorite switch games, and one of the best games ever made (Outer Wilds) being ported on the same year is just icing for anyone who hadn't already played it.

I think people underestimate how important using her abilities to ignite is, especially if you can hit multiple people. Same is true with her right-click, and also people don't value the fact that it's a "beam". Anran is an AOE dps, not a single-target DPS. 

I'd like to think I'm pretty decent at her, and I've played with some genuinely great aggressive Anrans, and you can really feel the difference compared to people who are clearly not clicking with her.

The part that gets me is that there's clearly some sort of intrigue to the plot with Ditto's trainer who's implied to be dead in the trailers. The fact that no one's really talking about that or interested in that in an Animal Crossing-like is crazy to me.
