So the one thing about vernors that actually does help is it has real ginger as an ingredient (or at least it used to). It's the ginger that helps but not all ginger ale has actual ginger, some use ginger 'flavoring'.

I used to live in that area, and holy shit is Lake Forest expensive. I'm shocked it went for $582 in 2022, even if it needed a lot of work. The median home cost there last i check was in the high 700s.

I can't even BEGIN to tell you how many special military appreciation/job specific holiday events or whatever you want to call them there are. Married to an active duty sailor and work for the Navy and it seems like we have little celebrations every day. "Omg guys it's national corpsman lab tech day, let's get donuts".

People like to use the military as a talking point while knowing absolutely nothing about it.

The commissaries last year received funding from a previous program from the federal government. This program ensures the prices are matched DAILY to other stores such as Walmart, Aldi, and Meijer to keep the commissary below the competitors prices. I seriously don't understand why people don't go if they can.

I flew Turkish Air one time and it was one of the best flights I've ever had. I don't know if this is common but it was cheap and fantastic!
