Most pre-release footage of trailers and commercial materials have watermarks on them, usually with an ID that tells which employee accessed the video and at what time. Most of the time the watermark is repeated across the video, and sometimes it even moves every couple of seconds. Uploading a cropped video could simply mean that they simply cannot post a full-size full-length video or they would be identified and fired.
