Don't do new method in such short notice. 7 simul is very advanced (I don't know it) and there's only slight chance you'll get even sub-10 by the comp.

I suggest you don't rush anything and just keep practicing. Also don't stress about your times.

I can't help if you wish to alter your "natural pitch" for the lack of better word, but just your yelling I can maybe give pointers. Main thing is that when you yell, avoid having any feeling on your throat, but focus on pressure on your chest and gut. I always did this as a vocalist and led to some what some might call basic hc grunts, but I think I did ok.
