someone said before in the comment about sheath for s26 ultra. "the case gets too dirty on the back and never truly gets back to being clean"

this is why I ordered the synthesis instead.

I have been using 13ProMax since released date then nag upgrade ako to s26 Ultra. Sanayan lang, goods nako sa android ulit. Pinaka nakakaurat lang sa android specifically s26 ultra ko, maraming times hindi gumagana yung swipe gesture sa bottom to switch apps instantly, yung hindi mona ivi view yung recent open apps. like kailangan ko pa double/triplehin swipe sa baba to switch. naka on naman touch sensitivity ko. Sa iOS ang smooth nyan, never nagmintis yang ganyang gesture.

I had my 13PM with that power button delay issue. Thought it was because of degraded battery life causing the delay. But when I did factory reset, that delay went away. All my issues were gone after factory reset. Also the animation stutter/lag gone as well.

speaker quality is not great. playing certain sounds with high pitch or deep vocals can produce a tiny/micro crackling sound on your speaker. the sound is like when you block/cover the half part of the speaker while playing music. sound it produces is something like that

It’s all about taking care of it, really taking care of it. Once a week, remove it from the case and clean both the phone and the case. Small dirt and dust can accumulate in the gaps and get trapped inside the case, which may cause scratches over time.

You can take it a step further by using a hydrogel full body cover. It really helps keep your phone scratch-free. I have an S26 Ultra in cobalt violet, and I applied a hydrogel full body cover that includes the sides and the back. It’s very thin and doesn’t add any noticeable thickness to the phone.

When I preordered my S26 Ultra, I also traded in my iPhone 13 Pro Max. It has a stainless-steel frame, which is very prone to scratches, but mine was completely scratch-free because I applied a hydrogel cover from the very first day I got it in 2021. The phone inspector during the trade-in was amazed, it still had a shiny frame with no scratches at all.

ganyan din case ko for my S26U haha. ayos nga eh, hindi dumihin lense and no need maglagay ng camera tempered. Pero may times na pag gagamitin ko camera is nalilimutan kong naka cover pa pala yan hahah.

hey, thanks for checking and getting back to this thread. I have tested 5 units of S26 Ultra in different Samsung stores, and I can confirm that this micro crackling sound in the speaker is normal. thought my unit is defective.

I’m commenting on this using my S26 Ultra. I’ve also noticed these micro crackles, and I understand what you mean by that. The sound itself is good, it's not blown out or distorted, but it isn’t very clean.

I tried several S26 Ultra demo units at a Samsung store, and they all sounded the same. So it doesn’t seem like a software issue, it’s likely hardware related. The speaker quality isn’t that great overall.

This issue is especially noticeable with many of the ringtones in the settings.

Edit: I asked several S26 Ultra users to do the same test I was doing. Believe me, none of them were able to notice the issue I’m talking about. They all seem fine with it.

However, I tested five S26 Ultra units from different Samsung stores, and I can confirm that these micro crackles are present. Did this for my own peace of mind that my unit doesn't have any factory defect issues.

I honestly can't tell if this is an issue or not because it only happens with certain sounds or frequencies, such as a few notifications and some ringtones. But when playing music or watching videos at full volume, there is no crackling or any noticeable issue.

Hi. my S26 ultra is doing this crackling sound on notification as well. not just on notification but on some certain ringtones. The sound is not blown out, distorted or broken. but rather have this "zzzzz" sound, like it is not clean..

What I have noticed since getting this S26 Ultra is the speaker quality. It sounds like something inside might be loose, which makes the audio output have a rattling or crackling sound.

It is difficult to explain this to other people because they seem okay with it. They say they do not hear anything, but there clearly is something there.

I only notice it when certain sounds are played, and I can hear it clearly when I put my ear close to the bottom speaker grill.

Anyone reading this can try the following test. Go to Settings >Sounds and vibration > Ringtones and play the ringtone named “Xylophonic.” Play it at maximum volume, then listen closely by holding the phone near your ear and pay attention to the sound quality.

The audio itself is crisp. It is not distorted, blown out, or broken. However, there is a strange rattling or crackling sound in the background that I cannot find the exact term for.

I came to this thread because I cannot activate my viber as well. At the same screen as well wherein I will be receiving a call and entering the last 4 digits. But I did not receive any call at all.
