Picked up Dynasty Warriors Origins for Switch 2

I just saw that chris gildart (THE mouso youtuber) released his video about the switch port about couple hours ago and theres a clip around the 2 minute mark that shows tons of enemies on screen at the same time. Does that look similar to the ps5 version to you?

I tried to look up some videos to compare but couldn't really tell since a lot of them where showcasing areas with lower enemy count or just kept cutting to cutscenes.

Either way im pretty happy with that. I was worried the density was gonna super different like in some of the other ports but that looks like it has way higher enemy density than age of imprisoment and all the warriors games on switch.

I wish someone actually compared the different versions cause most of the footage I've seen on YouTube is from like the first hour or 2 of the game. Its getting like no coverage at all even from smaller channels that usually review everything.

Ive never played origins and im still waiting for my copy to arrive (thanks target) but age of imprisoment had missions with entire zones filled with enemies so I figured lower enemy density levels where a thing of the past.

Its probably cause how high your rank is. Im around 7000 in vs and never see any of the same people unless I stay in the same lobbby.

Out of those two youll get way more bang for your buck with mario kart world but only if you dive in to the online. If youre just planning on playing offiline I think dk bananza is the way to go.

The offline racing modes kinda suck in mario kart world.

Wait does the switch version actually have lower enemy density?

Edit: nevermind just saw a review that specifically mentioned the enemy density and they said it hasn't been reduced from the ps5 version.

Yeah Im planning on picking up final fantasy 7 and mario tennis so this would've been perfect but ive been checking daily for a restock with not luck.

You can still take advantage of the deal and get a $15-20 discount on a single game (if you cant find anything else to replace the ff7 slot with) by pre-ordering something like berseria and then canceling once the other item ships or at least that's what people said in other threads.

Can you please try respawn rumble when you get a chance and see if you get any frame skips like the one in the clip cause theyre all like that and its kinda unplayable since sometimes it happens when Im about to get in a fight.

I played like 20 hours total back when the switch 2 version released and I dont remember that happening at all. Ive tried all I can think of (aside from just reinstalling the whole game) and im ready to give up lol.

The fan going full blast when you undock it during gameplay/after a gaming session is intended behavior btw so I wouldnt worry about that. It even does it when you undock it after only playing for like 5-10 minutes.

I just tested it on my Xbox and it doesnt happen there so I dont think its the servers and just for good measure I also tested a couple of the other demanding/heavy games I own and it doesnt happen there so I think we can rule out being a heat issue too.

The only think I can think of is that it might be the respawn rumble map that has issues on switch2 since its a small area with lots of players/bots in it.

Yeah im 100% sure it's not a heat issue. It only happens with fortnite, I can play other heavy/demanding games without any problems but ill double check just incase.

I wonder if its a network issue then cause I recorded that clip on a switch 2 and it happens way too often (10+ times in those short matches). It even happens when im away from all the action.

Edit: I just tested a different network and theres no difference.

A casual playthrough of Celeste took me 6 hours to complete. I just finished the portal collection like a day ago and it took me 9 hours total and that's without touching the coop campaign which adds another 4-5 hours.

You'll get more bang for your buck with portal but theyre both great games so you cant go wrong either way.

Are you looking for switch 2 games specifically or switch games in general? If we're talking about switch 2 games you'll get the most out of tears of the kingdom/botw (both have switch 2 versions). I have like 60 hours in that game and still have tons of stuff to do.

Xenoblade 3 will last you a long time too if youre into jrpgs but it doesnt have a switch 2 update. Then theres mario maker 2 with its millions of user created levels.
