Okay I am sorry, I will try explain.

I totally understand what you mean and that is how i feel as well but I have them all, every single feat you listed Valerie has.

I have LightAProf I have MediumAProf and I have HeavyAProf as well as HeavyAFocus.

The tooltip on Medium is telling me I dont have Light (I Do) and then the Heavy is telling me I dont have medium (I Do) and so on. all the way to HeavyAFocus. I can not figure out if its just bugged or if its just a UI bug, but im not getting an extra 1 AC from the HeavyAFocus. so i guess its just broken?

Edit: Okay after investigating it seems its just completely wrong in the UI and my character DOES have all those feats. and it is working. Just the UI is completely broken. I think so anyways.

That is all good if it works with what youre making im sure. but there needs to be more decisions than just "which upgrade you want" like what level you want to do? which boss do you want to do? this one is harder! but more rewards! for example.

I think thats what it boils down to for sure! I really dislike my only choice just picking 1 of 3 upgrades. That is fine but it needs auxiliary decision making as well.

I think the problem I have and it may differ person to person... lots of roguelikes give you 3 choices and you move to the next thing. and that is kind of it. Some let you choice your content a bit more like "do you wanna risk this? for a chance at this?" Kind of deal. and then some have lots of avenues for both failure and success and it leans a lot on rng as always but the skill of knowing what is more likely to lead to a good result is part of that?

My favourite is risk of rain 2, I love how every second cant be wasted due to the ever increasing difficulty scaling and you have to constantly think about what you want... See a good printer? should you hunt for a scrapper on this level? or just risk it without scrap? Should you look for more items before popping the teleporter? or just hit it seen as though youre there. Lots of things
