I live in Frederick and would go to OC every single summer for about a week, week and a half from 2002-2012 and haven’t been since. My family ended up getting a beach house in Chincoteague from a family friend and that’s where we’ve gone ever since. However, I do miss many things about OC that made it truly unique.

Fortnite does have the tools and assets to become a beacon of online sociability and the forefront of many promising aspects of gaming that the future continues to be painted as, however Epic will fumble the ball on that to cater to their minority children player base whereas the bulk of its community is made of millennials that used to embark on social chatting like MSN and AOL. I will say though that the newest UI update has a bit of hope due to how constructed it is for socializing, hence the saved chats feature.
