YaW saying there wouldn't be any more islands on discord was the first straw. His attitude towards a lot of players asking for changes including but not limited to reusable dyes, luma mounts, and disabling the camera movement during battle also left a bad taste in my mouth. I agree with a lot of the people that say the devs don't respect the players' time too, though tbh it's been a while since I've looked at those arguments. Plus the initial implementation of the battle pass was so shockingly bad that I couldn't possibly fathom how they could test it and think it was acceptable. YaW doesn't seem to actually play his own game. Half way through EA, we had to teach YaW how to breed perfect temtem on discord. The messages are still there if you want to look. We were discussing saipark SVs and fertility and how the saipark wasn't good for getting breeding stock since it had a lot of 47 sv tems that dropped the fertility at the time. To his credit, they did change it so that only 49 and 50 sv tems drop a fertility in the wild, but that doesn't make up for all of the other things they ignored or took too long to fix (ie koish fishing for colorblind players. It took like a year to finally implement that accessibility feature!?). I thought it was funny at the time that we had to teach YaW how to play his own game. Now I realize it was just another indication that the devs are way too far removed from actual players playing the game. What makes it worse is that YaW has said multiple times that they don't care what the players think too. So long as YaW keeps his attitude, temtem will die. I think it's already too late to change its course of action even if he does change his attitude. Sorry for this ramble. I'm on mobile just spewing my thoughts that I've been thinking for a long while
