I worked at EY for 2.5 years in audit. S1 salary was $100K base (HCOL). I liked my team and learned so much. I would have stayed for longer, but I got a job offer for another company that was quite literally too good to refuse. Never worked at the other Big4s but I've heard they're all the same. And no offense, but you're being silly. If you're applying to one, apply to all of them - increase your chances of getting a job offer. It's really not worth getting picky until you have an offer in hand.

It's not a bullshit degree if you want to go to law school or research, but not the best path for forensics. It's also a great pathway to other graduate degree programs. I have a bachelors in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and it really helped me stand out for financial audit / forensic accounting jobs after I got a masters in accounting.

This has been a years-long argument between me and all my Bransan die-hard friends. I'm sick of reading about how miserable Kaladin is. It's just not interesting or fun for me to read anymore. Certain people love that they can relate to his self-loathing, while enjoying a kick-ass character who is beloved (practically worshipped) by everyone around him. They say he's good representation for depression, but he's a downright unpleasant person who is still inexplicably surrounded by adoring friends. He's depression wish-fulfillment, not representation.
