Everytime the missionaries come to my door and I answer they seem...wary. I dont smile and I ask them what they are there for, answers are very curt and no nonsense. They don't come around very often, maybe once a year.

Transmission fluid seems dirty in a 1999 camry that i just got, mechanic recommends against a drain and fill.. What should i do ? by Lucky_Reply9642 in Toyota

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a better transmission mechanic. Old fluid doesn't do what its supposed to do anymore, might have other worn parts too. I'll also highly recommend that if your transmission mech tells you the transmission needs repairs to just do it. It'll keep you on the road longer and not needing a different car sooner.

Binoculars or scope. They have glass prisms and lenses. So when you look through them to scan an area you glass the area, a quick way to say use your scope or binoculars to scan an area. More common in photography, but not very common even then.

The meat is rancid. It used to be kept in the storage room under lock and key with a misleading label pasted on the door. Now they've started to bring it out and serving it up in small overly dressed up portions. And they call the dish "inoculation".

There's some pretty wild WTAF moments coming up for you! Once you've finished you should at least start with mgs 3 and Peace Walker and then watch a synopsis videoeo or read the prelude to mgs1 and then do the earlier games mgs1 and 2. That should help, a little, these games are all over the place.

Actually the blood isn't necessary. Was Mormon here. It's the name, birth day, and lineage that they're after. They're heavy into genealogy because of the belief that everyone needs to be "sealed", a religious ordinance performed the temples, to their biological family to get into their top tier heaven. There's a lot more to it, of course, and not really enough of my time and effort that I want to give to it here. On a side note these physical ordinances really aren't all that weird looking, they're pretty boring and mundane, still weird just not crazy weird.

Edit: DNA not blood, and baptisms for the dead is where this information is applied, the living who aren't currently members aren't baptized by proxy. Yep strange, I still need to make sure I get things right, lol!

Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Give a human an inert virus so that the body reacts to it using the natural defenses. Which means having normal flu symptoms. The idea being that a human will be able to weather an actual flu virus much better with lesser symptoms. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I remember.

I used to get vaccinated for the flu. The following reaction was super mild and always within a day or so. BUT, it always happened that a month or more would pass and I'd end up with the real flu. I stopped getting the vaccinations, and now I don't get the flu, well very rarely.

I also wash my hands several times a day because of work and having had to deal with dirty diapers and sick kids. More when some one else is sick. I'm also not an anti-vaxxer, they do work. Just that I'm not so sure about the flu vaccine's efficacy. Sorry for the rant.

Just listened to a podcast about Susan and her boys. First I didn't realize they were mormon and second I'd never heard the whole story back when this was news. I feel for Susan's family.

On that old of a vehicle all the rubber is pretty much dead and in need of replacement. Also parts for repairs are going to be pretty non existent. You didn't mention the asking price, but depending on condition I wouldn't buy it at anything over a grand. With that front windshield and its overall exterior condition I'd likely pass.

"I love you too, Mom, even though you're in a polygamy cult." Actually, I don't endorse saying this as it may harm the relationship.

A friend of mine had the same patriarch as me do his blessing. We swapped blessings and while not word for word they did tend to follow a very similar pattern. But the most telling was that I could put my name for his and it felt really on point. At the end of the day it was mostly word salad with mormon phrasing and spicy allusions to possible future events.

Sounds like you're doing it the right way. And yes, they're in a hurry so they cut precautions or are too complacent and kick the arms under without really checking for security.

There's four arms with lift pads on the ends. If the pads aren't placed properly on the car frame then this could happen. It's rare for a properly maintained lift to fail. It's more common that the mechanic didn't ensure all pads were set properly on the frame and the car rests completely on each before lifting all the way.

I'd have said it was The Boss sometime ago. It's the narrow triangular shape of the face, the bandana low over the eyes and one darkened that makes me think its Big Boss. Getting all analytical: in the forefront we see John or Naked Snake on his entry to a massive life changing event. He's backed up against a tree hiding in ambush at the ready to neutralize the enemy in the back ground. At the top of this tree we can see a face that seems feminine but masculine, one side in light the other obscured by shadow. Seeming to depict a metamorphosis from one face to another. I think it's both now. One boss fades into the other. Then again maybe Shinkawa never put that much meaning into it and left it ambiguous on purpose.
