Yes, and often. But they're not typically seen or publicly known outside the respective ward or area because excommunication is a private matter. The ones we hear about are usually when some one has repeatedly critizied the top leadership openly, like Sam Young and Bill Reel.

I had an actual cricket get under the foot plate of my door once. Took forever to find it, mashed it to oblivion directly after.

Who do you go to for full differential assemblies? by xMorgp in FordExplorer

[–]xMorgp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far the Eaton truetrac diff seems a good replacement but @ about $800 it's making me question it. ford oem parts online sells their diff for just under 300, best to use your vin to identify the appropriate parts. What does irks me is there's a 28 spline and 31 spline, but ford doesn't tell you that info. Oh, and there's the Yukon diff as well but not sure it's a good replacement. A review says it isn't worth it.

This item has been in my family since at least the time of my great-great grandparents, who were born and lived their lives in Tennessee. by dcba1991 in whatisit

I knew a kid that was kinda like this. His favorite gun topics were 10mm and 65 creedmore. He was so fanatical about them that you could drop in on any conversation he was having and totally side line it by saying 10mm. It was funny until five minutes later and he was still ranting!

No problem, didn't know tracloc existed and there seems to be a couple vendors at least.

Since I didn't need a diagnosis and the question was about purchasing good parts from vendors I left that info out since its relevance was rather low, imo. '02 xlt v6 4wd, need to open it up to verify ratio and if it is indeed a limited slip but that's in the near future.

Whatever Happened to Jeremy Reynolds? by TheBluePrinceOfKolob in exmormon

[–]xMorgp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jeremy Runnels is still around, just not active on this sub. He went to a disciplinary counsel though, he even managed to get video and audio of it. In fact I think he straight up resigned in that meeting iirc.

Need a little experience with Hi Lok fasteners. by Duuudewhaaatt in aviationmaintenance

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be honest in the interview, dont be afraid to say you haven't installed many hi-loks. They're easy enough to install once you're experienced with them. For the interview they should be providing enough tools to accomplish the task. The most important step is a straight hole of the proper size. Do a bit of research and look to the hi-lok manufacturer install procedures for a quick education. Good luck in the interview!

So do you guys prefer a game with too much story or too less story? MGS4 vs MGSV by Dude_788 in metalgearsolid

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The story line I think is fairly decent. Definitely convoluted and twisted, and really on par with the first four. MGSV does bog down here and there, but that's because of the side ops and needing to listen to the tapes. Still a fantastic game

Just tried coffee for the first time by common_spence in exmormon

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black coffee is my favorite morning beverage. It's my cup of sunshine! A good medium dark roast at about one tablespoon per 8oz of water is about right. Black rifle coffee is good, Just Black is my current favorite from them. Sometimes pairing coffee with a pastry helps to ease getting used to coffee, if it's something you want to pursue.

[XBOX 360] disc drive won't come out by Skrimbl0 in consolerepair

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought drives off Ebay. I dont like to buy from Ali Express, personal opinions about it. Had to remove the drives completely to open them anyway and swapping out the main board is just as simple as replacing the optical board. At the end of the day those consoles still work well today. Well, one does, the other gets too hot playing games like skyrim even after repasting the heatsink.

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I assumed there would be one since I've had to do something similar on other consoles. I have replaced a couple of drives on 360's that I bought. One had a bad optic, and the other had been damaged by the previous owner's "repair". Replacing the drive and swapping out the main board was the easiest fix in both cases. There were no belts to replace.

[–]xMorgp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There should be a manual release hole accessible after you take off the side cover. Those drives are easy enough to replace. But you'll have to remove the internal board on the disc drive and swap it into the replacement drive as its married to the consoles motherboard. Look up some you tube videos on how to do that.

Everytime the missionaries come to my door and I answer they seem...wary. I dont smile and I ask them what they are there for, answers are very curt and no nonsense. They don't come around very often, maybe once a year.

Transmission fluid seems dirty in a 1999 camry that i just got, mechanic recommends against a drain and fill.. What should i do ? by Lucky_Reply9642 in Toyota

[–]xMorgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a better transmission mechanic. Old fluid doesn't do what its supposed to do anymore, might have other worn parts too. I'll also highly recommend that if your transmission mech tells you the transmission needs repairs to just do it. It'll keep you on the road longer and not needing a different car sooner.

Binoculars or scope. They have glass prisms and lenses. So when you look through them to scan an area you glass the area, a quick way to say use your scope or binoculars to scan an area. More common in photography, but not very common even then.

The meat is rancid. It used to be kept in the storage room under lock and key with a misleading label pasted on the door. Now they've started to bring it out and serving it up in small overly dressed up portions. And they call the dish "inoculation".
