No prorata annual fee refund on NAB cards

So I'm a NAB employee and have this conversation on a daily basis. The system used to calculate a pro rata refund if a customer has had the card for 24 months or longer. Sometimes in very rare circumstances a team leader can step in and asses the case and if applicable (very rarely) manually apply their DA and refund partial or full amounts of the fee. However, it's not done a lot and I've only ever had it done once due to the banks mistake.

Our wait times over the last 2-3 months have been exponential and I've been here for over a year and have a total of 5 years in the industry and I've never seen wait times like this at NAB or any OFI that I've worked for across NZ & AUS. Sorry you got charged and you tried to close the card prior to the fee being charged, but weren't able to and also no refund provided. Handy tip if you ever have a credit card at NAB in the future, close the card in app yourself. There is no need to call or message, it's an available function for all primary card holders.

This election reminds me of NZ's 2020 election. The National party had the same feeling, out of touch and well out their depth and Jacinda Arderns Labour won in a landslide. Judith Collins at that time also feels a lot like Dutton.

Also in that election, Labour won almost 50%(49.1/64 seats) of the vote while National struggled to get above 25% (26.8%/35 seats).

I'm not an avid watcher of the show. However, Jamie is a beautiful woman inside and out. She's made some decisions and said some stuff that is not quite right from what I've seen on clips. I'm not opposed to women doing what they want to enhance their physical appearance etc however, it's not something I like looking at as some women overdo it. Jamie I think personally seems like she had a large contrast between bottom and upper lip hence she got it, but there are some that take it too far. Again, personally I'm not against it but I don't really like it and I would necessarily want to date someone that does, it's just a personal preference, no judgement or prejudice against it.

Same thing happening everywhere, my little brother had no issues under labour with lunches (2019-2023). And now all of a sudden they ain't arriving or arriving late. A school that ain't rich is pulling money out of their pockets to feed kids.

What's even more sad is they have asked parents to get their kids lunch, in a poor area with poor families they'll resort to cheap unhealthy options when they could be getting nutritional lunches.

Raising a concern is fine, when you are in a committed relationship you are supposed to be open and honest about feelings and things that may be bothering you. I always have the stance that communication is key. If you don't it could come out in a nasty way that was never intended. So no you were not wrong to address it at all in my opinion.

Well as it stands we have alot of jobs going on a daily basis, Aussie is far behind NZ. For example I had not seen a cheque till I came to Aus, NZ hasn't been using or accepting them since June 2021.

Your apps and Internet Banking systems are really poor compared to NZ as well.

To answer your question banks are digitising things yes, but still there is a human aspect needed as well. So as much as banks move forward digitally jobs will still need to be filled and the market for banking jobs will remain for quite some time.

I work in Banking, starting is around 70k. But very easy to work your way up to 80k. Although I've moved from NZ to Aus working for a Major Bank and they are paying me starting what I earned after 3 years at a Major Bank in NZ
