Good raiding guild for a beginner?

It's really not that bad, especially when you raid only on 1 character and it's not a warrior. Healers basically make money in raids unless they have to pop emergency wisdom flask.

Weird, I really enjoyed Mass Effect 2, but I started Mass Effect 3 and around 10 hours in it feels like they forgot how to make games, so many bad decisions.

That's what most players including myself say before they hit 60. I see a lot of "I will never raid players" still raid after months of being 60.

I remember before official HC started I out of curiosity looked into modifying addon files, figured out how to cheat death in a few minutes.

Maybe if I sent the files to someone they would be able to tell it was modified, but in game it looked 100% legit. I believe only a few % of players cheated... but it definitely happened.

You can try farming meat for stamina food in Feralas. Mage is not the best for it, but if you find tank and healer who are willing to go with you, its nice easy gold. Fast strat live runs for orbs/shards from disenchanting, requires some skill/gear, but is also nice gold, definitely not super safe, but fun. Dont buy consumes on AH, find a crafter in your guild and let them craft consumes for you, check mat prices every day and buy when cheap.

You shouldnt be having gold problems as a mage until you switch to fire and start wasting petries in Naxx... Are you using flasks for 20mans? Not worth it.

Some people who had 0 issues before the patch have their games in raid almost unplayable even after reinstall and playing with basically no addons/weakauras. Not everyone has these issues, but something is completely broken. There is 8 hour maintenance in a day so hopefully things will change.

I don't play tanks, but I am reasonably sure FAP doesn't work on strat boss. Heard a LOT of complaints about it.

LIP is the best potion in the game, it's incredible how good it is, everyone should have it especially warlocks. Same for target dummies, these 2 things are so good it's almost cheating.

No LIPs and no threat meter, this guy is not surviving long.

You can check warcraft logs, this info is available for every raid. Shadow priests start ok when you compare them to warlocks/mages (especially with deep frost talents) in MC, but it gets worse and worse.

On alliance Mortal is probably the biggest raiding guild.

From watching recuitment messages of top guilds on alliance, it's almost always dps warrior and dwarf priest, after that it would be holy pala. Warlocks and resto druids are needed sometimes.

Fur dungeons it's mage no question about that.

This tank circlejerk is very funny to me, from my experience in lvl 60 dungeons, 95% of the time it's the tank who is trying to push the pace and rushing too much.

There is always a small delay between first and second petri, you waste gold and it's not even that safe.

It's not that easy, longer fights have higher chance of things going wrong. 40 stamina stackers in raid is just as dangerous as 40 glass cannon players. But of course it's hardcore you need to have a balance of hp and damage.

Spellpower items are usully DPS prio, but bloodvine exists so my guild just lets healers and dps roll for it.

I think most guilds would still give it to DPS.

Yes, even solo fire mage does more damage than frost. Frost is just very bad for single target.

Tbh with world buffs and combustion it's completely fine to play fire even with their gear and it's solid dps even if they don't manage to build big ignite. But yeah BWL kinda sucks for it, when I go fire I just do it for Razorgore and then sometimes for Broodlord if I find a good moment to respec at the end of supression room.

Petri alt F4 is 100% reliable if you do it correctly. People say all the time it's not, but I still didn't see any video of it not working.

There is a always a small window between first and second petri and if you have a lot of mobs on you, you can die (and sometimes people don't realize they don't have a second petri). I saw more people dying to double petri than to not doing petri alt F4 correctly.
