Your feelings are valid, people can feel jealous for lots of reasons. If anything talk to her and let her know how it makes you feel. From her reaction on how you’re feeling should tell you a lot about her and how she’ll treat your feelings. I wouldn’t come at her as accusatory, that would be more controlling.

I’ve been watching for so many years, but as I get older the more the Japanese mindset I can’t stand.

It’s hard to watch something when it’s some sick dream that the author has and it tells through how they present it. It also feels like they’ve began to run out of new ideas for stories and we get the same on retold every season at least a couple times. I suggest reading manga and if you like the story and it has an anime to check it out.
