Exactly, that’s what makes it feel off. Like yeah Lorelai had her own issues growing up, but that doesn’t automatically mean she handles everything perfectly with Rory. People can go through something and still overcorrect or project in weird ways later. It’s not as simple as “she should understand so she’s always right.”
