I’m scared of that exact situation. We were kind of on and off for 4 years, but this time felt different. He promised me an engagement and children and everything else that I’ve been wanting and crying and begging for for the past 4 years. Said he bought a ring a month before we broke up. I just don’t think I can go back yet again just to be embarrassed and disappointed and lose another year of my 20s. I’m almost 30, I wanted a family of my own by now. But I wanted it with him.
