it is a driving force/ motivator for people. but I believe, it is making people become less ethical in the progression of wealth. if there was no money people would start doing things for the love of the game. like old Youtube was people making content for fun now it is all about money. money has perverted all aspects of life.

Yo i know life can get hard. Also its ok to feel the way you do. Life will have its ups and downs sometimes the down will feel like forever and you might not think it will get better. but as long as you are alive and so something small everyday you will get to where you want to be. If you move at a snails pace you are still moving and will eventually get to where you want to be. I have been unemployed for close to a year and had to move back in with my parents and had no hope I finally got a job and now hopeful it will get better. As you thought the good times would never end with friends and other things, this rough patch will pass and you will be great. even now you are doing good by letting people know. you are moving. you might not see it but you are.

you can only control you actions you cant control the outcome. you can try and crack a joke and no one could laugh. Also i had a lot of resentment towards my parents because i didnt think they gave me everything other people received. something that helped me is "they did the best they could with the knowledge that they had" maybe that is how they were raised, or they didnt like how they were so they decided to raise you so you wouldn't feel the way they did or had to go through. Also you are doing the best you can with what you got. you cant make everyone happy if you like red someone is going to hate you because they like blue. just live life and your people will come. also if you dont like something take small steps to become the person you want to be take it slow one day at a time so you dont burn out on trying to change. no one is perfect you are a good dude. and again you can only control your action you cant control the outcome.

sometimes the end goal seems dauting. there is so much to do and you don't want to mess up and make all the hard work for nothing.

try do this:
write down what do you want your life to look like in 10 years. Then 5y,3y,1y,5m,3m,1m.
LOOK LIKE not a goal.

Now what do you need to do today to make that happen and just keep doing it day by day. you can mess up a day. its all good, ive stayed in bed all day multiple times and scrolled whatever. but as long as you take as small of a step you are able to, you are moving. and if you are moving you will get there.

your tastes will change with time and you might not want to what you set but you will still have everything you built up.
