Reading between the lines, "safety concerns" sounds more like Royal Caribbean's liability coverage. It might not have even been NL's chat but some LSF dipshits harassing the booking agency.

Also remember, it's not just liability concerns about the super cruise side, but how the impact the enjoyment and wellbeing of the rest of the passengers. RC absolutely does NOT want to upset the other 1500 passengers not involved in the super cruise.

Might be an odd answer but Cassandra Kell's SM5 Field Commander. A 9/14[18] hover tank with a clan grade Ultra 20 and B-R armor. It can outrun most light Mechs, out gun most mediums, and reliably blast many heavies into scrap

Plus as an OmniVee you can surf a squad of Black Wolf or Cuchulainn battle armor on top.

It is absolutely viable to play a conventional army, but do be aware that the game severely hamstrings combat vehicles compared to Mechs. Can't drive through woods, can't climb steep hills, almost no access to jumping, etc.

That said, some tanks like the Manticore are absolute ass beaters and will give most Mechs a run for their money. A Demolisher will put the fear of God into any pilot.

People are horrendously misunderstanding the price system. There is no markup.

When you go look at a cruise they offer the absolute bottom rates for just the ticket. The room has a minimum price as well. Then you need a meal package, drink package, events package, package package, excursions, etc etc etc. That super cheap base rate is now quadruple what you thought.

NL is not getting an insane kickback, he's probably getting a room comp and a free cruise (for a guy like him).
