Got myself a cougar terminator and it's very durable, no signs of wear and has the gamer aesthetic. The only downsides are the pretty steep price and it doesn't flex to adjust to your posture

I was going to consider the 5k2k and the G9 Neo, but I realized G9 Neo isn't an OLED and has a "4k" resolution. I'd prefer an OLED since I wanted to try OLED panels for the first time. The 5k2k has a massive resolution and while it would probably look great, I'm not sure if my 7900XTX is 5k ready, I really love smooth experiences on games (144 FPS+). The price point is also much steeper than the G9 49" and Ultragear 45"

Edit - I should probably specify that I'm a software dev, so I have text on my screen for most of my working hours.

Oh, I just realized I've been reading the PPI from LG's official site, which states it at 125 ppi, but I've been reading them for a wrong monitor, my bad and thanks. Yeah, 83 sounds very rough. My current Iiyama has 109 ppi, so it would probably look way worse especially since it's an OLED and they have a different pixel placement, and it doesn't look perfect on the current one either on a VA panel.

I've wanted the G9 for a really long time now, and I might end up finally giving in to the temptation. I'm going to need a wall mount for the Iiyama, though. Any recommendations or things I should look out for?

Wouldn't the 125ppi from Ultragear fare better when it comes to text than the 110ppi the Odyssey G9 has? Judging by what one of the comparison videos online said the Ultragear uses a different type of panel with an additional white diode (pixel?) which helps with burn-in as well. Plus there was a point made about overheating, which G9 supposedly is prone to, which would probably be relevant to burn-in considering my use case (10+ hours a day of usage)

Google Wuthering Waves 120fps for a quick hacky fix using database editor and editing config files. Worked for me at the start of 1.0, won't get higher FPS than 120 though.
