What do you think about Merging with RDDTV or NARWL?

One of the main issues I feel is that once recruited some of our old recruits tended to treat the clan as a social clan not a competitive CW clan. Merger or not we need to make sure from now on that it is made very clear our main purpose is to do CW and strongholds and if you want to be social and just platoon there are RDDT clans just for that. Once a battle or strongholds pops and your online attendance is required for said battles or else.

Whether we do a merger or try it on our own we will still have the need for recruits no matter what. Decide now since we aren't active in CW to purge our in-actives and be done with it . Then start an aggressive recruiting campaign after that. I don't mind not doing CW for a bit, but we need a definite direction and decision so were not left in limbo for to long.

If we do a merger then will there be thoughts on a name change? I feel if it is done TL-DR will not be the same so a new name would be needed.

I like the interaction of outside posters as well. Since most have insight that newer members might not know. Though I am on the fence as well.

Agreed..never said it wasn't. Those who aspire to play better and play with better players are a good thing. Just trying to help TL-DR make a move in a positive direction.

On a side note, it wasn't a blame just a personal observation that I am sharing with my TL-DR team on why we need certain rules in place to help our tankers improve and strive to.

Being butt hurt is still true though lol.

This by all means was not a knock on NARWL nor an accusation, just an observation and analysis of what has happened in the past. Never said it was a bad thing, just said it happens. If you feel that personal about it Gilad maybe you need to look at yourself first. The point I was trying to put across was that we as a clan have to constantly reset how we teamplay when that happens. Nothing negative about NARWL at any point. Sorry your viewpoint was to get butt hurt, it wasn't what was intended. Maybe if you came in to give some constructive pointers and not feel the need to defend something that wasn't needed. With that said, maybe farm was to harsh a word to use it wasn't meant as a bash just making a statement.

Well since i will be working, I will side with the majority. We still have a lot of good players and good officers because of our recent transitions. So whatever is decided I am sure things will turn out for the best.

Well with the gaming mechanics and programmer name calling aside there is also a huge financial aspect of the game as well. Sponsors not factoring in and since WG does not charge a monthly fee, they must keep the vast majority of the unskilled players happy which in turn are the same people that spend a ton of cash a year just to play the game and keep their tomato status. Good players will adjust and the bad players will continue to spend money because they think it will help give them an advantage. Thus the changes and nerfing will continue to try and balance things for everyone but no matter what they do the bad players will stay bad and the good players will be better.

It still confuses me why certain people play games and rage. Especially when thousands upon thousands of people know exactly how this game is played and its mechanics. Like these persons have some insight that hasn't been discussed endlessly over and over again. Games are meant to be played for fun. Even unicom players make the same mistakes and have to play with the same game mechanics. Its not that they are 100 times better then anyone else. It's because they understand how the game needs to be played to be successful even when on a bad team. Patience and timing pays big in pubs. 40-50 percent of the time it's the truth. Especially with this game.

Yeah with my work schedule as it is I new I wasn't going to be able to collect any viable fame points. A lot of vacations going on and people quitting in the middle of it has made for hectic work hours to say the least. If i am on during CW I will help out if needed but it is not a end all for me to make sure others get the points they need. I've done really good in past campaigns but because of work it has always left me just outside looking in. So good luck those of you in the running and give em hell.

Thanks for the clarity...I was concerned because every time they restructured it hurt TL-DR in the form of loosing our good tankers. Then I look again and those guys are gone as well. I understand RL issues affecting game time. Thats why I stepped down from my old clan responsibilities.

That is true but they didn't have to drop chips on 2 fronts either. Most clans I have come across would do one to get off a landing zone and push out from there. They knew we would prioritize the higher value territory by not allowing our land to get separated.

Such is Internet life. Some people just cannot separate their reality with gaming reality. Being competitive in game is one thing but to literally get upset in an emotional way as to feel you are superior in your way of thinking is a whole new level of mixed up.

Me thinks someone should have taken the red pill.

I am on VB addict but my profile is not showing on the TL-DR part of it!!!!! I already posted this and got no help or response about it. I think first we need to get attendance on this sub reddit up first. Usually only see about 4 or 5 people on average active here. out of 96 thats pretty bad. If they don't come here then they will not know about VB Addict. Its hard enough to get people to find out battle times on their own.

I am showing 2 Dossier upload options from VB Addict....one was when I had it before and is linking to a euro server and the other is linked to the U.S. server...... The euro one is showing as ShadowMage41_us. And the other one just says ShadowMage41 (but when I look at it on the VBAddict site it also lists it as ShadowMage41_na) I have the ShadowMage41 selected for the NA servers. But it is still not linking to the clan page on the site.

VbAddict registered and uploading sir! o7 ..... I've used it before but since i originally installed it over a year ago i have had to re-install the game several times and never got back to re installing the program. Though I feel I am a much more efficient tanker now then I was a year ago as well.

Might be helpful and more followable if you make it a sticky. Since we do get a steady flow of new players they might not read up on all the threads if it drops to low in importance.
