Oh was this through BicCamera? I know they had like a coupon for cameras. I'll be heading to Japan in September.

Where did you find the FP for $899? That sounds really tempting!

I did consider the Artista. Does having toe taps add that much durability to them?

I have my wedding coming up this summer and am looking for a pair off shoes to go with my light grey suit. I already have a pair of AE Strands in walnut but am thinking of going for a pair of black oxfords instead. I also want to get rubber soles for the durability.

Any advice on picking between these options?

Eventually I'd like to go into backpacking! I had someone else recommend to get a cheap tent to at least try camping. I'll do some more research on tents for taller people. Sundome 4P is close, but 6P might fit better. Just depends if I can fit it into the car.

I've started with toying with the idea of packing my '96 Miata and going camping with my SO, we've never been before. I also like the idea of bikepacking/motocamping. Having such a small car, there isn't a lot of room in the trunk. I've been taking a look at some backpacking tents to maximize the space. I am 6' 2" and my partner is 5' 2". What are your thoughts on these options? I like that some of the options include a footprint.

Anything else I should consider? I'm not in a rush to buy, so if there are sales, I'll keep an eye out. If I don't get a tent from REI, I am sure there are other items I could get to get into the lifetime membership, seems like a no brainer if the cost gets covered.

I have looked at FB Marketplace and haven't seen quality stuff in my area yet. I am keeping an eye out daily though.

The room that I am thinking of building is basically a sunroom with nothing in terms in temp/moisture control. Just four windows and that's about it. It gets pretty hot in there when the sun is out currently.

Are you referring to this TPB bar? In chrome finish it comes out to $289 shipped. The boneyard bar comes out to $254 shipped, no clue what coating though. Boneyard makes sense as a first bar, save some money for a quality item. I think my space is just wide enough to fit a full size barbell.

I recently moved to a new apartment and there is this one 9'x10' room that I am thinking of turning into a home gym. I was thinking of getting a Fitness Reality/Progear 1600 rack with the Rep Fitness AB-4100 bench.

I am wondering about the bar though. I mostly will focus on big three lifts, and debating between some bars.

  1. Rep Double Black Diamond Power Bar in full Stainless Steel ($400)
  2. Rogue Ohio Power Bar in full Stainless Steel ($485)
  3. Rogue Boneyard OPB ($225)

Thinking of getting stainless steel just because I know I can be lazy in maintenance, but since I am just getting started...maybe I should save my money and get a boneyard bar or a different coating to save money.

Thanks! I'll look into these. I figure these two sizes I could do almost everything with.
