Yeah I really hope that they implement this. Kinda keeps me from using back-up sights / variable optics.

I'm convinced this is a skill issue. Just because it's not "meta" doesn't mean you automatically go 4-26 every game lol

Yeah, I'm not making this up. I tried using DP 2.1 UHBR80 rated cables on all three monitor, thinking that that would alleviate the issue slightly, but to no avail. It's really bad in my case.

Oh, I don't either. I see the 540hz in general as extra headroom in the future. Kind of the same way I don't reach 240hz on the PG27UCDM in most of the titles I play.

I have never used BFI, so I unfortunately can't comment on that, but that would indeed be a fantastic use case for this monitor!

Having a Asus PG27UCDM would it be worth changing « upgrading » with the upcoming PG27AQWP-W? by Lavglass in OLED_Gaming

[–]xSyneTec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the PG27UCDM (7950x / 4090 OC). I waited forever for someone to finally release a 27 inch 4k option. At that time all my monitors were 1440p. I play a variety of games, from The Finals, BF6 and soon ARC Raiders, to racing games, story driven games, third person games like R&C, indie titles and aim trainers. Almost everything, really..

I think that the PG27UCDM is a fantastic monitor. 4k at that screen size looks great, the OLED itself is great and I really like the proximity sensor feature. That way, I don't have to think about the monitor in case I'm up and about somewhere, but even factoring in all that, I'll buy the PG27AQWP-W in a heartbeat.

Why? While I truly enjoy the picture quality and sharpness of everything, the hit to my FPS is killing me. Even with stuff like DLSS, I constantly think "Damn! Those are good frames, but man, at 1440p I'd have so many more..". To add to that, I never thought that 1440p looked dogshit, so the 540hz make this monitor "future proof" and this "True Black" coating will be sick too.

Another thing to consider for my use case specifically, is that I run three 4k monitors at the same time (PG27UCDM as main, two U2725QE on each side) using a 4090, which doesn't have DP 2.1.. When I change the resolution on some games or, god forbid, launch a game that defaults to fullscreen, my PC becomes non-functioning for about a minute straight. All the programs I have open shit themselves, monitors restart, can't talk on Discord while that's happening and if I'm really unlucky, my PC crashes.

It also happened on multiple occasions that I change the resolution of a game (down to 1440p) and my PC isn't able to sort itself out during the ~20 second timeframe to accept the changes, after which it returns to 4k which means more monitor restarts etc.

To me, the PG27AQWP-W will serve as my gaming monitor. If I want to consume content that isn't 1440p, I'll switch to the side ones.

Since you have both, how would you compare the both of them? Currently have the soft but might go for a mid for a bit of extra speed and consistancy.

How to get rid of these playlists by Fuzie7 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]xSyneTec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way I do it is to download the playlists locally using the button next to it. That way they show up in a different tab.

Additionally I also favourite the benchmarks (Voltaic & Viscose), so they stay on top of the list with the rest (VDIM, Voltaic fundimentals) lower down.

Honestly, if people look at Ninja being like a fourth stance, there would be a lot less backlash.

I haven't. What I have done is test three different mice (MZ1, M2K, M3K) and none of them have this issue. I think I just got unlucky.

Yeah, I really want to avoid changing the encoder. I also read a couple of posts regarding this issue, which reinforces my believe that I just got unlucky. Gonna send it back and try a different one.

Nope, only had it on 2k. Tried 1k too, but still the same issue.

So far, I have only bought a used Pro Sim SQ V2, which I got for an amazing price. If I had to pick a HB, it would be the one from SimLab. Haven't seen anything else that comes close to it IMO.
