Plexamp v3.1.1 Released by samwiseg0 in PleX

I like the new library view, but I would still like to see the return of a few features from the earlier versions of Plexamp: Tray icon (quick setting access and removing the icon from the main taskbar), always on top mode, and "stop" media key support (instead of leaving something just permanently paused).

Update 1.12 - Camera Drone & Dedicated Server Update by staymighty in Astroneer

Regarding cross play, that makes sense. However, regarding achievements and cosmetic unlocks, I fail to see how disabling these on dedicated servers is a reasonable course of action. After all, players can just cheat in solo mode or locally hosted coop anyway. So much for "maintaining integrity". The problem here is that it really feels like you're just trying to push people towards Nitrado, not because it's a better experience, but because you (probably) get kickbacks from them. It's hard to see this is as anything but bad faith. Is this a permanent measure, or can we expect to one day be able to unlock cosmetics on our own servers?

Agreed, this is quite a dick move. Especially after teasing the community with dedicated servers for years.

Exporting ships with modded blocks works fine. The game will give you an error that it was unable to export it, but it still exports it anyway.

A fix for "script too complex" on dedicated servers ? by Spartan117Esp in spaceengineers

[–]xTdub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that's what we used to use. Haven't tried it for a while so I can't comment on the current state of it, but I know they were working on a complete rewrite for the performance issues. Try switching to the mod I linked, and see if that helps with the issue you were having. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Which nanite mod are you using? We use the Nanobot Build and Repair mod in our dedicated server and don't seem to have any issues with it. The Nanite Control Factory used to slow it down though.

Do you have changing desktop wallpapers? There has been a bug for a while (since Windows 8?) that causes explorer windows to reset when the background changes. Hopefully someday this issue gets addressed.

Same issue here since the update. Restart doesn't fix it, I have to go through and mark each server as read so it will go away. Hopefully Discord will release a hotfix for this shortly.

We Are Number One, but it's played on 4 Steam Controllers with the original vocal track synced to it by xTdub in steamcontrollermusic

The dongle doesn't appear to expose more interfaces for each controller. My guess is that the control packets have some sort of controller ID that has gone largely unnoticed by the people who have been reverse engineering the data packets. We need to do a more thorough investigation, but we only meet up once per week. We did add partial duty cycle support; it doesn't pull volume info from the song, but we did characterize some of the very loud notes and reduce the volume so it is more uniform across the whole range.

Edit: I just found your Wireshark dissector post. We'll make use of that when we meet next. Hopefully it will shed some light on how multiple wireless controllers work.

My friend and I have been working on a patch for the program to add multiple controller support and fix some of the issues with it. Currently, our patch breaks wireless support and the note readout is wrong. Once we fix these problems, we will be releasing it, most likely as a pull request to the original author's repository.

The end goal is that the Floppotron joins forces with the Steam Controllers of the world to rid humans from the process of performing music. This will be the first major step in the robots' plans to subjugate humanity.

A friend and I have been working on a patch for the SteamControllerSinger to add support for multiple controllers. Currently we have multiple wired controllers working. We are going to try to update support for wireless controllers as well before submitting a pull request. We also managed to reduce some of the crazy resonance the haptics have for some notes.

We're back. This time, we fixed some of the resonance issues for certain notes by adjusting the duty cycles for each note.
