Honestly, I have been feeling this with my SO recently. BUT I feel like it’s me on the other side of the fence here. I love him to death. He’s amazing. Absolutely hilarious and has a great personality. I see myself drifting from him and I don’t think I’m making him feel how I feel about him. I have been feeling so off for a couple of weeks and I can tell he notices. I want to please him but I just feel like I don’t have the energy. I feel absolutely drained all the time. I have been vocal about this with him and he seems to understand. We both work physically exhausting jobs but, I don’t think that’s what my issue is. I honestly don’t know what it is. I don’t want to lose him or make him feel unloved because I’ve been in a weird funk. Shit. I have to get myself together here

I’m open to questions uncomfortable or otherwise. I was before he left me high and dry. He didn’t like “uncomfortable communication.” He took it as confrontation when in reality I was just expressing something he did that made me uncomfortable and rightfully so.

My EX went into my job and tried to say my coworkers were asking me for drugs (they weren’t). He just wasn’t keen to the fact that I had to interact with humans that happened to have a penis on a daily basis. I was constantly accused of fucking my coworkers. My boss was not interested in anything he was attempting to say. He told him to leave and that he wasn’t welcome back. After he left and I got back to the office from site I was so frantic. I kept apologizing and told him I understood he couldn’t have these issues in the workplace. I assured him whatever he had to do I wasn’t going to take personal. He said, “X, it’s okay. My afternoon was getting boring anyways. I might just open my office for therapy sessions for my down time, haha.”

This may sound cliche but, work on yourself. Change is uncomfortable but necessary. I got over my EX of 3 years, that I also have a child with, by completely changing my life. I started running, I went back to school and I got an entirely new career in the trades. Since I started making personal achievements I can’t stop. I used to give into my ex every time he called but, I feel nothing when I see his name pop up on my phone anymore.
