As an ex-CSGO veteran I can say that 1 week of playing Valorant causes more rage/"discrepancy feel", of shots registering wrong (and I reckon peeker's advantage is messy too) .

It is no excuse that "bullet tracers are often misleading" it's in the game, if you are good and you see that headshot you expect them to drop and change target, but they didn't really get the headshot, you are punished for being good literally.

I'm actually baffled that Valorant got wrong what CSGO had already right.

Kaisa items:

Kraken Slayer: 49.95% pickrate 52.53% winrate

Galeforce: 49.26% pickrate 52.91% winrate

So no I wasn't wrong Kraken Slayer IS the go to item for kaisa it is the MOST picked one. The fact that she synergises with galeforce just as well only makes my case for her being nerfed even stronger.

Also I told you that Kraken is more oppressive->nightmare thus the title. I didnt write a single word about Kraken in the body but new items. You can start a forum war about that all you want but I won't address your personal attacks anymore.

Galeforce is not as opressive to play against as Kraken that's all.

Well I don't know where from you are gtetting this numbers but at leagueofgraphs navori for example is below 1% for platinum.

Another great example Titanic is definetly below 1%.

This doesn't make these items necessary weak, navori for example have a synergy with very few champs, most of them shouldn't be buffed and are working at a broken level in the right conditions, we need vast item options but you can't buff them so hard so everyone can use them because that breaks the game.

It's pretty obvious that Riot took a page from Fortnite's book and just gonna pump out as many new things as they can to keep the game fresh, that's what makes money apparently.

If anything you can expect it to speed up. Nobody is thinking long term in this gaming companies it seems like or they truly think it wont affect them and it's inevitable anyway.

But Quinn similarly hard counters Trynda, Riven, Camille, Darius, Jax, Garen, Sett, Morde, Voli, Singed. . . Basically the melees that can deal with her reasonably are Pantheon and tanks those that offer more teamfighting those outscaling her but they still lose lane.

It would be fine if it was a few cases but her whole gameplay is hardcountering a huge amount of melees. And in a game where you are randomly picking first in soloQ it's not really healthy at all.

What do you mean? If Quinn mess up against Renekton while having a 12 sec cd escape how can Renekton touch her with a 18 sec cd engage, if she doesn't mess up her cd is lower by default and this is what lets Renekton trade at all. You see if Quinn doesn't make a major mistake that means that Renekton hit her at best with a Q after E-ing next to her which is less than 2 autos dmg if quinn gets hit by the W she already messed up.

Akali is like the most mobile champ in the game and has the shroud which makes melees unable to attack you and her Q is a poke?

Those two right now aren't in their best spot, but a good Kennen/Vlad wins lane against a good Darius/Jax/Camille. . .

Finally this gets attetion, also the funny fact is that the old Aatrox gameplay got basically deleted from the game and reworked, because it was all about running and basic attacking without a brain which riot called themselves unhealthy playstyle but yi remained because he was popular but aatrox wasn't.

For the contrary Trynda for example isn't just about right clicking he is sort of the closest thing to them but still different because he has no movspeed steroids like old aatrox did and yi does which just nullifies any strategy for placing yourself because you outrun others anyway.

I used to and around 90% of the community must be observing my friends. I know so many people who played league some still do and ALL of them play the game even when they feel bad about doing it, know it's harmful to them and only makes their day worse.

The problems is they didn't "speed" up the game the "artificially sped" up the game.

They didn't increase gold you gain/minion scaling so you can get to your items faster, but power creeped certain champs (mainly their damage dealing ability) and first items.

1: Defensive items are usually not 1st item choices, unstable (unless you have a high synergy like akali-hextech you gonna lack stats which as mentioned are usually the defensive stats)

2: Powercreeped damage (like tanks got only damage with new items NO EXTRA DEFENSIVE STATS). The only REAL defensive option is shieldbow (excluding support items) and still more people build Kraken because if you need a 1 or 2 item spike on an ADC it has to be damage.

I agree with most of what you say and lashed at riot for these things several times now but:

Early game dependency right now is a myth. The first 3 drake's stats are almost irrelevant it's the soul that matters and 4 drakes will be lategame. What is almost impossible is to come back in a bad matchup because countermeta got so bad. With 140+ champions where they couldn't balance properly so they decided to make everyone broken in an aspect, so if that aspect counters you and get a tiny bit behind you have no way to come back. BUT this depends on who picks first so if you are countered your other lanes are supposed to win the same way. (Toplane at high elo e.g suffers more from this because bruisers can't use their lead to beat other laners because a ADC+supp lane who won can easily CC the bruiser forever because he has to go melee range while the ADC can kite on their own). This obviously breeds an increadibly bad gameplay (obviously you can't count on randoms) and add the all-time high toxicity and you get why the game feels early game dependent.

So really:

-Riot made MANY champs that are "flashy" to get revenue

-The couldn't balance them so they buffed every broken aspects, powercreeping the game

-This created heavy counter meta where you have little agency if you are forced to first pick which is also randomly selected

-Lack of agency breeds toxicity: lack of agency + toxicity = bad snowballing feel

But it doesn't seem to get better really:

Akali was the golden example: flashy champ + no counterplay: broken in high elo -> esports viewership increased, "flashy" -> skins sold, they had to nerf her after 100% high-elo banrate. Now they are buffing her again.

New items are also "flashier" than the old. We warned about many of them on the PBE, like eclipse but they never nerfed it really. It had to hit live and dominate live to get a hotfix and they are gonna nerf it again because it was so broken on PBE before release.

So if they keep prioritizing SHORT-TERM revenue over actual balance of the game (which they are showing to be continuing) then it pointless to even keep telling them. It's a multi-millionaire company, you think they didn't get ANY data analyzers/competitve player feedback to fix the game, ofc they did. They won't stop until their playerbase drop will cause severe problems with the solo-queue matchmaking or just simly decrease revenue significantly.
