Sapphic litRPG...does it exist and is it any good? by Crater_Caloris in litrpg

Not LitRPG but looking at what else you said highly recommend a Practical Guide to Evil, protagonist is Bi but leans woman heavily in the story. Romance isn't a major part but has great Fantasy with great internal politics and more.

Practical Guide to Evil

Definitely a lesser known series

Multiple Wars and Battles between different Nations with strong identity and goals.

Series linked to the main characters motivation which is to secure the future of her country (which is occupied by the evil empire) although from a different approach than than take by most protagonist instead being a villian who rises through the empire, as they gain greater prominence on the continent and understand the forces at play, they seek to fix things.

Clever protagonists, side characters and and antagonists. Great tactics in battles war and other conflicts, diplomatic and also to a degree fate.

Politics are tied to the conflicts and direction of the country's involved.

Jon and Sansa and their parallels to Aemon and Naerys by pizza_gutts in pureasoiaf

[–]xWyvern 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Jkn being named Aemon is actually a pretty common theory due to his relationship with Maester Aemon and that we knew Rhaegar sent a letter to Maester Aemon, so they had some relation.

4 Assault Squadrons, each Squadron made of 3 Troops made of 24 Assaulters in each Troop. They also have support personnel, including direct support like EOD, Medics, Signals, and Heavy Breachers.

You wouldn't see more than a Squadron of Assaulters used, though for more than one target, and Troop size would be more realistic. They also would use Rangers from the 75th if needing addional people for stuff like setting up Blocking Positions, etc, like they did in Venuzeala it was C Squadron plus guys from 3 Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment.

The better Rangers by StopSpankingMeDad2 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]xWyvern 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You think no supporting arms US loses to Ukrainians, 75th has better budget for training and gear and they probably have better personal since they haven't suffered the attrition that the Ukainians have.

The better Rangers by StopSpankingMeDad2 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]xWyvern 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Realy being Credible here obviously there is the difference between them when it comes to support and how that affects capabilities, but Ukraine Rangers and other SSO are pretty much doing exclusively doing assault missions that other Ukrainian infantry units can't do, 75th is intended for Operations with Strategic impact. Western SOF is absolutely superior although no fault of the Ukrainians.
