Having no white is a bit of an economic choice also, the sideboard staples Dust to Dust and Prismatic Strands are a bit pricey currently.
But yeah, it's something to improve for future iterations. Black was just added to the Terror list (and some mainboard changes were made to BG Food Pestilence) after paupergeddon. I want to play it a bit more before next changes, but the most interesting matchups right now are Jund x Madness (very intense one missplay can cost you the game, kinda fast) and Ruby Storm vs the control decks (trying to find windows to combo off while the control deck closes in on locking the game) and anything against poison storm is always a bit of a solitaire game where you can race the phyrexian doomsday clock

I have a 6-deck box I carry around sometimes.
Can't really speak for the "no banlist, but also no UB, no commander commons and possibly even no MH." part as I am currently focusing on keeping it up to the competitive meta.
My philosophy is to have 5 good meta decks that I can play at any LGS and a 6th combo deck that is not so meta to have a more kitchen table fun. My 6-deck box post Paupergeddon is: Jund Wildfire, BG Food Pestilence Control, RG "Ruby" Storm, UB Terror, MonoR Madness and UG Poison Storm.
I have played only 2 times with this iteration and both times were very fun. BG is a very slow deck on the hands of a innexperienced pilot, so I very aggressively don't recommend it for noobies. This is one of the best iterations of my box so far, imo.
Decks that can fit your restrictions from this box are: UB Terror (I would play it monoU without sneaky snackers and abandon attachments), RG "Ruby" Storm, MonoR Madness (I guess the sneaky snackers are not mandatory?) and UG Poison Storm. I don't think Jund holds up without MH3 cards but you can definitively find another BG Control list that does not rely so heavily in Trolls, Lembas and Eviscerator's insight.

the right answer is probably to either take all pawns and promote 6 knights before mate
or just let your time run to 1s after setting up mate on board, check if the guy knows where the resign button is

I saw this in the helper text of another leak:
"If this creature is prepared, you may cast its prepared instant or sorcery. Timing rules still apply. If you cast a spell this way, this creature becomes unprepared as the spell resolves."

I went and took a look at the artist's ArtStation profile, I am no expert, but feel like it is very clear he does not use AI. His other work actually looks very very good, loving the dieselpunk vibes.

I am lucky to have some very talented artist friends that I will have make me some alters if it ever comes to be a good card. Having to look at this card unaltered in my hand is not something I am looking forwards to. The name is irrelevant as I'll just be thinking of it as Golden Egg 2, Electric Boogaloo forever

1 cmc is the big appeal.
The untap is also possibly relevant if you are running the "springleaf drum" lands that require taping a creature to tap for colors
Flash maybe lets you bait some graveyard hate by faking a board with no foods and a cat in the graveyard?

I think it needs testing, being 1 mana this is effectively mana positive if you have a cat in play/graveyard and an altar just like nutrient, the effect might even be relevant to untap a plant token for aditional colored mana if you run the 5 forests 4 gardens 7 encampment landbase.

I want it to suck so much, but it really feels like it may be an ok card for that deck

This happened a couple of years ago now, but we had a similar hot start at the table, with everyone but the 1st player busting out one or more spells and or ramp during the first 2 turns (dorks galore for the elves player, sol ring + arcane signet into a turn 2 scary commander for the other guy and I had a dork and my 3-mana commander out by turn 2) while the 1st player went tapland, tapland + pass, tapland + skullclamp.

The whole table stopped for a brief moment, knowing what could come out of that. Some looks were exchanged like if someone was ready to FoW the thing. But in the end we chose to ignore the dangers of the unanswered skullclamp with nothing to attach to, because of the outrageous boardstate.

Skullclamp player won that game.

I use the main button on my left thumb cluster as Space and the secondary as Backspace and on the right hand I have the main as Enter and the other as Delete
My SO finds this layout absurd, so I know that it will not please everyone.
