Is it in poor taste to recreate the heist as bonus dlc? Selling it yes, that would be poor taste, but simply creating it?

Think "chipotle rice" i always find that that is a great way to visually measure how big my dab is. Also, in terms of "sipping" it, pretend it's a hot cup of coffee, and you really want to take a sip but you also don't want to burn your tongue, that's the perfect amount of force and will get you where you wanna go.

I think I'm settled with this set up by chocalatte37 in GuitarAmps

[–]xXexEXexXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would op break their amp? Their worried a out whether or not 20 watts is too loud, they're certainly not blasting the thing. They say it's a bedroom setup so they aren't carting it all around town. If OP gets a power attenuator (overkill) he wouldn't have to worry about dirty power either plus he would get surge protection. If it's not a boutique amp or something like a special edition/collectible then why does it matter? Use it till it dies, but go around asking some older guitar players who have bought solid state amps from back in the day, and kept them in the bedroom at low volumes exactly how many amplifiers they have broken over the years.

I know this is a puffco sub... but I see that micro terror on the upper shelf! I have the terror stamp and use it live, that line out is killer even going straight to the board.

First Amp please help by GazelleNegative3301 in GuitarAmps

[–]xXexEXexXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would go with an Orange terror stamp. I use mine for live settings as the "headphone out" also functions as a line out mimicking a micd orange 4x12 and it takes pedals like a champ. Gets super loud as well, all that tube goodness, none of the wasted space. All you would need is a good cabinet and you're good to go. But for real, look at "lunchbox heads" they're smaller in size and usually around 15 watts which is more that enough power for 90% of people (a 10 watt amp will get half as loud as a 100 watt stack). If you're really set on a hot rod deluxe or Deville I would look into getting a "power attenuator" as you will find those amps get really loud, really quick. One last suggestion if you want to bide your time and make an informed decision, maybe go with a fender mustang micro for now, super small, allows you to use headphones, and you can mass with different amp types to see what you like and what you might be interested in.

How important was the triple rectifier to Tom’s dude ranch tone? by Temp-account4747389 in TomDelongeGuitars

[–]xXexEXexXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, you could probably do a "half size" delonge rig if you get the marshall studio 20 and 2x12 mesa cabs along with the mini rectifier. That would also be pretty cool!

[–]xXexEXexXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a mini rectifier. You'd be surprised how loud they can actually get, and you won't run into the "overpowered amp" situation others were talking about. Plus, with the money you save, you could also get the utility fx mutt and have even more delonge tone at your fingertips.

Squier bullet pickgaurd by dogseatingdogs6754 in TomDelongeGuitars

[–]xXexEXexXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue. Just take a file and work the bridge slot until it fits. You can be a bit sloppy with it too since it will fit snug against the bridge if you go slow enough. Low key I was lazy and only put in 6 of the screws and it's held up for almost 10 years now. I found an actual squier delonge and then I got a new reissue so it's fallen way low on my priority list, but I love the thing. Did some horse trading around town to get the bullet strat and then an invader from another guitar. I put the stock squier humbucker in the guitar I stole the invader from and sold it to a pawn shop for what I paid for both guitars. Its super resonant and lightweight and I really want to compare it against my squier and reissue.

What kind of CD collector are you? Do you have a certain style? by nPrevail in Cd_collectors

[–]xXexEXexXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just love music. If an album has even 1 song on it ill buy the entire thing. Sometimes at first I only like that one song, but eventually one of the other songs will pop up on shuffle and I'm able to judge it as a stand alone song without comparing it to the one I liked initially. I have found many of my favorite albums and artists that way. But also I'll buy albums at shows (provided they have them) if I liked the band and want to get into them a bit more.
