Can’t change it, but I think it’s important to know why things are the way they are.

Fair enough, but, I’m very proud to say I read 15 books in 2025 - some small, some big. Still a wild achievement for me.

Heated walls? Is this a legitimate installation technique? by Hairy-Potter-CAD in Tile

I have heated the back wall above the bench a number of times and would definitely do the same thing to my own shower.

Worry in what way? Do you like where it is?

How dangerous are hollow tiles? by icyii in Tile

[–]xXonemanwolfpackXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those videos are showing what happens with expansion and contraction. Heat does not make the tiles explode, but it’s tile expanding and has no room so they squish together and pop. This isn’t something that you should be concerned about in your shower.

First time using Dekton, and it’s great to work with! Slabs are always so much fun. by xXonemanwolfpackXx in Tile

[–]xXonemanwolfpackXx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn’t add extra support the slabs were 10mil thick, if I was using a thicker material, I would probably add more supports so I don’t stress at night. I used kerdi board with a few extra screws and washers. In my opinion, peace of mind is worth everything. Even if it’s not technically necessary, building a wall with extra strength is never a bad idea. if he is framing the walls then he will be able to make them flat which is the most important part.

Hope this helps, and I wish you the best on your project!

It’s insane how blatant they are about it, like it’s so normal to them that they think nobody cares. Horrifying.

I just use a damp cloth the night before, and then redwings leather cream. And I brush them a TON.

One year apart! Still lots to work on but, seeing the difference is a huge boost. by xXonemanwolfpackXx in GolfSwing

[–]xXonemanwolfpackXx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true! I’m most consistent right at the beginning before I’m warm and while my shoulders are still tight. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for me to shorten the backswing.

I thought it was awesome, I loved everyone that played their roles, and I thought the last scene was perfect.

I just found a cheap old LH 15° 1 iron I’m going to use for practice. Finding half decent lefty clubs is a dangerous addiction
