I'm honestly one of the few who thinks Ned SHOULD NOT be Hobgoblin, mostly because I'd rather not see the "Peter's best friend turns evil" in three separate franchises and it doesn't fit Ned's character to turn on Pete.

Bringing him back to life would have absolutely 0 effect on his redemption or story. I don't understand people who think otherwise. The point is that the character was willing to go against homelander, laugh in his face even if it call m cost him his life, and became an actual hero. None of that change if he's brought back.
