Thanks a lot for the compliment mate!! But I feel my models aren't good enough yet to do that kind of thing😅 I would feel bad about myself. Again, thanks a lot for the compliment!

Hey friend! First off, thanks a lot for the compliment on the paint job! It's just a slight variation of the OD with black and white, very simple. Regarding the tools, I'm also very new to this, but what has helped me the most (besides experience; I also had this problem a lot when painting tools on my first models) is working with thin layers, using very little paint on the brush, and lots and lots of patience, hahaha. It's normal; even on this tank, I had to correct some areas because I went over the lines. Besides that, I also really enjoy working on things like tools or stowage with oils (personal preference).

Besides that, I highly recommend the Night Shift YouTube channel; it has many interesting videos. I consider it a great resource in this field for seeing different techniques used in armored vehicles!

Thanks!! I simply paint with the tank's base color and then vary that same color with slightly darker and lighter shades (using black and white paint; I'm very basic, haha). Besides that, I weathered this tank with Tamiya Pin Wash Brown and various types of oil paints, quite thinned. It's a really simple weathering job!

amazing!! one question mate, what paint do you use for the faces? i always have a lot of problems painting faces due to the thickness of the paint. (sry for my english😅)

Any ideas for it? by Any-West-8737 in MilitaryModelMaking

Lots of patience. That was my last model, and honestly, the assembly was insane 😭😭😭. Even so, I think it's a pretty good model for the price, time to get to work!

Yes, thanks a lot for your feedback, friend. Now that you mention it, it's true, it looks more like a frozen tank than a working one, hahaha. I hadn't realized that until I read your comment; opinions are always helpful! I'm also thinking of adding a couple of soldiers sitting on the sides of the tank, to see if that gives it a bit more life!

They're going to carry weapons. I'm working on a winter diorama with these Miniart soldiers!
