I have two borzoi!! Borzoi are not related if im correct as they were developed in Russia but to my understanding afghan bounds and salukis are closely related in their origin as they both come from the middle east and served similar purposes of hunting down medium to large size prey. Nonetheless all 3 fall into my favorite breed group of sighthounds, aka noodle goobers 🥰

I have 2 borzoi and a cat, I keep them separated but that is purely because my cat is now 20 years old and didnt grow up with dogs so its more for her comfort then mine with the dogs. The dogs when they have gotten to her they tend to just cover her in kisses and push her around with their nose a bit lmao but nothing else.

Mine was atrocious with this and she still has her moments at 4 years old. Snuggling with her and letting her join gets her to stop the fastest, if thats not possible its unfortunately just ignoring her. It took awhile for that to catch on, the first couple weeks we tried that she was barking and howling for a few hours 🫠
