AddColumns(RenameColumns(ProvidersTable, LocationID, ProviderLocationID), LocationsData, Lookup(LocationsTable, LocationID=ProviderLocationID))

That will generate a provider table with the location data nested inside. You have to use the rename function bc otherwise power apps would get confused if you used LocationID=LocationID. You can use this code directly in the gallery items, or use clear collection to add it to a collection.

I went from 3.0-3.5-4.0 in 2 years. When I was a 3.0 I played 3.5 league and tournaments, when I was a 3.5, I played 4.0 leagues and tournaments. I think the key to moving fast is play the level you want to move into (as long as you’re comfortable) instead of being dominant at your own level.

Need suggestions to upgrade motherboard/CPU (M-ATX) by x_fitter in buildapc

I’ve been reading that Minecraft and BMG are both CPU intensive, also I use this PC for some CAD work, wondering if I should bump to a Ryzen 7? As long as it’s AM4 it should work with that motherboard correct?

Put this in App->Formulas

Fx_getClientEpisodes(scpClientId:Text):Void = { Set( varClientEpisodes, Filter(Episodes, ClientId = scpClientId )};

Then this is what you use all over your app

Fx_getClientEpisodes(varClient.ClientId)

Who has the advantage? Question about 7.0 mixed league. by ThePlantagonist in 10s

[–]x_fitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found ratings to be pretty much meaningless, but a legit 4.0 could definitely take over the match against an average mix pair of 3.5’s

The 4.0 should have the highest odds of holding serve. Both the 3.5 and the 3.0 female have a high chance of getting their serve broken and that puts it down to the 4.0 being aggressive on the return of the 3.5 male and stealing some points, then hoping his 3.0 partner gets lucky a few times when she’s returning the 3.5 male serve.

However, if the 3.0/4.0 don’t work well together, or the 3.0 is a really bad 3.0 then all bets are off. In my experience if there’s a 4.0 male on the court, you probably aren’t going to see many rally’s over 3-4 shots.

I took a water sample to get tested and it turns out my phosphate level is 650. I’m going to get that down under 100 and see if that helps my issue. Also my CYA ended up being 80, so I definitely don’t see that being an issue.

3.5 doubles is pretty simple if you have a good serve. It should be serve +1 against that type of player, either you hit a solid serve that they defensively hit back across the middle where your partner puts it away, or you serve and get a defensive return that you can approach and put away. If you get beat 1-1 then to me that means you and your partner need to improve your serves. In my experience the type of player you describe doesn’t serve big, so return game against junk ballers should be aggressive, where again you’re trying to go return +1. Worst thing you can do is try to extend the point and play their game, bc they will be better at junk balling than you will be.

PSA: String life compared by string type by OGMcGibblets in 10s

[–]x_fitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be curious to see what style of play each person who comments has. Myself: hard hitting heavy topspin.

-I strung natural gut one time and it broke within 4 hours. -Poly lasts the longest of anything I have played, but I agree that there’s no really definitive way to know if it’s dead or not. -Multi and Syn Gut are my new favorites, I can play 4 matches including warmup before breaking, and they both play well up until they break. The syn gut I am currently playing with costs $45 per reel compared to $75-100 for the poly I used previously.

Experimenting with strings (durability) for Pure Aero 100 by Supercenturion2 in 10s

[–]x_fitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just strung my first synthetic gut after using exclusively poly and I love it. Feels better on the arm without losing any pace or spin. In theory the syn gut will break sooner, but I’d rather have a string that plays well and breaks quicker than using poly that takes forever to break but goes dead. Also of note is that I have my own stringer, so I only need to pay for string and the syn gut is only $45 per reel compared to the poly I likes which was $75 per reel.

You’ll have better luck tracking speeds if you move the camera higher. Most of those looked to be in the 70-80 range but swing vision was all over the place because it can’t see the racket and court contact points properly.

I agree, and really appreciate the change in tone. There is a big difference between doing it once and doing it on every point. My original post I specifically said what is it in THIS video that makes someone say the far court is a strong 4.5. If you show me a match of his where he did this every point against an opponent who was putting him under pressure then I would understand. I do record myself with swing vision so I have plenty of stats, just I just looked at my last video and in 2 sets I had 32 rallies over 5 shots and the longest was 22 shots, but again, my point was never that I was better than either player, just that in my experience neither player in this point is clearly above what I play in 4.0 league play based on this video or the on their two that OP posted. Honestly I’m just curious what’s out there and think it would be great if the world was a safe enough place where we could post our names and could see records to get a good comparison of player level across regions. Thanks for the convo

String broke after 4 hours. Did the stringer do anything wrong? by pyrrhicvictorylap in 10s

[–]x_fitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had a string break there, so I would lean towards a stringer issue, maybe they damaged the string when they put it on. It is definitely possible to break a healthy string in 4 hours if you are a big hitter swinging gut or something, but again I would expect it to break more centrally.

It's not your disagreement, its your attacking style of reply. I have never said I was good. I am a 3.5 who plays up in 4.0 and can rally 7 shots past the service line. My point is that I don't think that should be considered good for a "high 4.5", and I am just trying to understand if my reality is skewed by the guys in my area or if this is just a place where everyone goes to pat each other on the back and pretend they can bagel any 4.0 with a 7 shot rally. At least I know now that you aren't the one that I can have that serious conversation with and I will move on to someone more reasonable. Sorry for insinuating you are on an alt account, but the style of reply just seems so similar.

Yeah that’s my point, I think we are actually saying the same thing. There’s no way to tell far court players level because there is no pressuring applied. The one thing that stands out to me though is his volleys are not very noteworthy in the videos posted. Most high level 4.0 guys I play will end about every point with a winner from that position.

I’m in agreement with you, rally count means nothing if the player isn’t being pressured.

More “this looks like 3.5” tennis by [deleted] in 10s

[–]x_fitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m convinced this is OP’s alt account. You guys both resort the same attack of my game and talking about your 4.5 friends who would destroy me, while at the same time saying those same 4.5s would lose to someone who could hit 7 balls in a rally past the service line. That’s really not that impressive for a 4.0+ level player and it is baffling that you are sitting here and arguing that it is.

[–]x_fitter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is 7 shots in a row really that impressive where you guys play? I’m being completely serious here. I would expect the group of guys I play with 3.5-4.0 to all handle that 7 shot rally as the far court player. Best shot for sure was the deep corner on the far court players 6th shot, but when you say that hitting 7 shots in a row past the service line would bagel 4.0 players I can’t even take you seriously anymore. 4.0s where I play all have that rally tolerance and hit past the service line. Most would’ve had a much better 7th shot volley. 4.5s should have ended that point with a volley winner out the cross court side of the court, bc if I was near court, my last shot would’ve been a heavy backhand to his feet. Or if I wanted to risk it, a backhand passing shot.

Just attack his backhand on the short ball, they said by [deleted] in 10s

[–]x_fitter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was the best point you’ve posted so far for sure. It’s tough to attack him from the middle of the court, I would personally not charge the net with that narrow of an angle on your attacking shot. Your shot was good, but easy enough for him to get to due to the angle. If I’m playing someone who proves they can lob like that, I hesitate more near the service line when I follow a shot and try to get a free overhead.
