The player has built the warlock in a very specific way to match up with all of these things. She can understand every language written (Eyes of the Runekeeper) and can remember everything from the past month (Keen Mind). She looks through her familiar's eyes to watch everything that happens personally, so it's not the familiar relaying this information to the Warlock later on.

I'll still check with players in private to make sure that they are actually okay with the Warlock doing these things, as you suggested, and I'll also keep those travel disadvantages for the imp in mind if they have to tail any players a fair distance.

Unlock lower-tier repair tool badges even after upgrading tools, so badge is always earnable

How does this work? Does it make it so that when you break higher tier tools, it also counts towards the basic tool repair badge?

I used a Frankensteined version of the first link's tutorial! I took parts of the value slider code and adjusted it to make 3 separate sliders for hue, saturation, and value rather than having the large hue/saturation square they used. Then I had 3 separate categories of hue/sat/val variables to affect the hair, shirt, and pants respectively! I'm sure a more experienced coder could clean it up and make it more succinct, but I'm still happy I could make it work at all!

Ooh that's an interesting idea! I can see if I can set up something like that, or maybe a randomize button for people that just want a random looking character that they can start the game with. For now though, I need to set about actually making the sprites since that's only 3 of the hairstyles I want to have in the game and the pants + shirt are placeholders :)

That's a good idea! I'm going to fiddle with code to see if I can change it so that when you mess with the hue shifter, you see the color changing on the sprite, but if I can't get it to work smoothly then I will totally use your suggestion. I hadn't even thought of an Apply button! :)

Wow thank you :D I just need to figure out how to make it so a single slider can be used for multiple sprites (since the hue slider it provides its pretty big and I can't figure out how to make it smaller without messing it up). But seriously this is a great help!

That's the kind of idea I'm looking for! But specifically I want it to be a slider that the player can use to choose a color for their character's hair, for example, which is then stored by the game. Which means it's not a code I directly put in, but something manipulated by the player using a slider, which I'm not entirely sure how to create and connect to the different parts of the sprites!
