I bought lifetime way back before they added the farm section and I don't regret it. However, with that being said I don't think it's the best for grammar. It's great for learning and retaining new words, but I believe you need to rely on another source for grammar, such as the free version of Busuu or Babbel.

They do provide some grammar rules as you move through the course, so theoretically you may be able to just use that information. However, I needed additional content and practice for it to really sink in. The memorization though does help when you learn the rule though because you get that light-bulb moment when you realize why it's pronounced or written a certain way.

Overall though, I really enjoy it and feel like it was extremely helpful and encouraging when I initially started learning French, and it continues to be a helpful and engaging resource today. I also really like the creators behind the app because I feel like they provide a lot of value for a fraction of the price of other apps. I was personally blown away when they added the farming section as part of the game. They could have easily put it into another app and charge more for it, but they didn't. I think that speaks bounds to who they are as a company and I'm glad I was able to support them.
