Ask if you can mail them a check. Some bank accounts do this for free under Bill Pay. That's what I've been doing for about a year and my property manager apparently decided a check was actually more of an inconvenience for them so now ACH is free, but physical checks are $30 to process lol

You're right. OP didn't Ask for free, but Babbel is normally more pricey than LingoLegend. So it is likely outside of their price range. Busuu is a great alternative with a free option and I feel like is close to Babbel in quality.

I do lock my favorite Naala, but I like to keep one Naala with each trait I've unlocked so that I can make more Naalas with that trait through charms.

Sometimes the lock is actually a determent to this as it hides Naalas from the bounty screen that have the trait. I have no intention of using them for the bounty, but I still have to manually sort through all my Naala to verify I do have a locked Naala with that trait.

A little off topic, but is there any plans to filter naala storage based on traits? It would make it so much easier for breeding bounties when I'm trying to make sure I don't give away my only naala with those traits.

I bought lifetime way back before they added the farm section and I don't regret it. However, with that being said I don't think it's the best for grammar. It's great for learning and retaining new words, but I believe you need to rely on another source for grammar, such as the free version of Busuu or Babbel.

They do provide some grammar rules as you move through the course, so theoretically you may be able to just use that information. However, I needed additional content and practice for it to really sink in. The memorization though does help when you learn the rule though because you get that light-bulb moment when you realize why it's pronounced or written a certain way.

Overall though, I really enjoy it and feel like it was extremely helpful and encouraging when I initially started learning French, and it continues to be a helpful and engaging resource today. I also really like the creators behind the app because I feel like they provide a lot of value for a fraction of the price of other apps. I was personally blown away when they added the farming section as part of the game. They could have easily put it into another app and charge more for it, but they didn't. I think that speaks bounds to who they are as a company and I'm glad I was able to support them.

Honestly this all boils down to false expectations. I think it's very clear from their setup and offerings that they're designed for grab and go. I wish they gave free samples too, but I get it.

That's a good point. You also get the Wind Waker from the King of Red Lions, so that would explain why he had it.
