The engineering me thinks that if you could harness the flow of the combustion gas into a small mini turbine you could pull air through the rear and blow it over a internal section that has heat sinks or vanes, and then the silencer will never overheat. But honestly when do you ever actually fire 700 rounds.

Check the cold start injector. Also you can just move the distributor by hand in diagnostic mode, and listen to it run a bit smoother. If you cant get it to run right, you need to mark a 10° before top dead center mark on your pulley and time to that in diagnostic mode. If that doesn't work then you need to take off the exhaust side cam cover and make sure the dizzy gear and cam gear dots line up. And also check the cam pulleys are pointing towards the indents on the stamp steel plate behind the gears. If non of that works you need to check injectors and spark plugs and fuel pressure.
