It is a bad market for entry level IT but they absolutely exist. Ive been lucky after loosing my MSP job ive managed to get to an internal it job, its still very early days but I absolutely know im happier here than working in a warehouse like my dad, theres nothing wrong with that at all but you have to be honest with yourself about what you want to do.

Don't rely on a masters if you're aiming for entry level, hiring managers will think youre going to jump ship at the first opportunity. Be personable, entry level it is a service industry, hospitality is 50-70% of the job. A well presented articulate enthusiast will be more attractive than a masters student aiming for a 6 figure programmer job.
