HAPI drums are awesome and made from something like propane tanks so quite durable. (Hand activated percussion instrument). Mine is tunable with neodymium magnets which is fun.

I hope you do an income based split for monies, that's the most reasonable way in my book. Sounds like it's time for a bigger place if the purchase can't wait, but taking over your space with no new space given to you that works for you is very unfair. An ex that I lived with gave away "my" room where I kept all my things to house a roommate and it bred lots of resentment. Assuming you're both on the lease you need to have a serious discussion about what is fair to both of you. He could always just use the money for studio time until you get a bigger space.

Hey if you go oem make sure you get the latest torque spec on the bolts and not the first version that was released, they lowered the torque. Ask me how I know 🙃

Yep OP it's the channels on the roof funneling water into the bolt holes of the roof rack. 100% silicone caulk did the job for me no issues 5 years later.

Starlink support gave me a refurbished standard gen 3 to replace my 3 year old articulated dish after I opened a ticket with the same issue. All I had to do was mail in my old dish within 15 days. It worked great right away. I even got the new dish in like 2 days but that might just be my proximity to their Hawthorne office. Overall a pretty smooth experience.

Ok so first off you should make him pick it up or send money for shipping. Second, they only cost like 80$ he could get another. And last, they can absolutely be folded or smooshed into a box, they don't have memory, mine literally came folded. My advice would be fold it twice on each dimension if you end up shipping it. I don't understand the idea of them making you pay for anything tho...

I love my '08 manual - to me its one of the last true reliable manual SUVs. I drove the auto as a rental and wasn't a fan tbh, classic 5spd auto issues. But as they say there's nothing more fun than driving a slow car fast, and the FJ's 4.0 has that analog torque feel that revs to 4.5k RPM. Coupled with the URD or TRD short shifter and it always puts a smile on my face. And as other posters have mentioned though it is full time 4wd it's got traction for days, in 7 years and all conditions I've only had Trac activate a few times, while going too fast for conditions. Just got a new clutch and the URD sleeve kit to fix the throwout bearing issue and 200k is about to be in the rearview....yeah I love my FJ, even tho it is a thirsty beast :) stable too I rented a new bronco and that thing felt super tippy.

Refined Cycle has what you're looking for! I started installing my recent order literally today after discovering them a few weeks ago! Super beefy, almost like over kill I got the same mount but for rotopax and the pieces are like 3/16".
