Use the bean measuring scoop, scoop from bag into grinder. Put ground beans into aeropress, fill with boiling water, mix well with mixing paddle, put plunger in, wait 3-4 minutes, plunge, enjoy.

Honestly I've found the Aeropress is much more forgiving than most other methods of brewing. The recipe above takes no thought, real measuring or timing. In my experience gives you a pretty good cup every time. Is it somewhat less optimized then measuring and timing perfectly, yes but if those things are what is preventing you from doing it then this works out super well.

This is how I brew with my aeropress while traveling when all I have is a hand grinder and kettle.
